00:11It's a very interesting time now and boy
00:13you don't know what's gonna happen.
00:15I know that I'm proud of it.
00:17I know that we've done everything we can.
00:20I really don't know
00:21how people are gonna react to this thing.
00:24This could be
00:25anything from a flop to a
00:27moderate single or something that
00:29is beyond what people's expectations are.
00:32You never know.
00:33You never know. Good luck keeping on.
00:37We were in our own slipstream
00:39of feeling like we were doing something a little bit
00:41special and different but the full circle
00:43of seeing that audiences
00:45were reacting to it the way we
00:47had hoped they would was
00:49powerful.
00:52I had two dreams
00:53when we started this a little over
00:55ten years ago at Marvel Studios.
00:56One was that Iron Man worked.
01:01The other one was that we could build something
01:03that was as expansive and as
01:05experiential as what people who've read
01:07comics over the years could get.
01:08I had a lot of faith in Kevin Feige and people at Marvel.
01:11You wanna give them everything you got.
01:12Cause they're gonna give everything they got.
01:15This was a whole new journey.
01:16By the first Avengers I thought,
01:18oh well, I think we're onto something here.
01:20Just seeing the characters together,
01:22there's something viscerally
01:24awesome about it.
01:25I think that's why the minute Sam Jackson showed up
01:28at the end of Iron Man 1,
01:29whether people had read comics or not,
01:31who is that? What does that mean? Why is he here?
01:33And then Tony Stark appearing at the end of The Incredible Hulk.
01:35What if I told you we were putting a team together?
01:38Who's we?
01:39Those seem like just the tiniest of things
01:41compared to where we are now,
01:43but those were the foundations that led us here.
01:45The cutting edge concept behind the Marvel Universe
01:49is this massive organism of shifting parts and new ideas.
01:54How do we do this?
01:55As a team.
01:56Sarah Finn is responsible for all of these amazing actors
01:59and actions that we've brought into this.
02:00I think after the first Avengers people realized
02:03that this was not just an ordinary comic book movie.
02:06That there was really a lot of thought and a lot of care
02:09and a lot of passion that's going into each and every one of these films.
02:12And there's also some joy.
02:14I think when the actors are having fun and creating these characters,
02:17that audiences feel that.
02:19Let's do a dance-off!
02:21It's fulfilling that those characters have just spoken
02:24to so many people all over the world.
02:28We are Groot.
02:32I love the fact that we've been all given the opportunity
02:35to do something different and put our sort of ideas forward
02:38and attack a character again and hopefully advance on that
02:41and bring something unique to it each time.
02:43It's wonderful to be able to play this iconic character
02:46that means so much to people.
02:48And I really have to thank the audiences for that
02:50because they embraced my portrayal of her from the beginning.
02:53Final fitting.
02:54What do you think?
02:55Questions? Comments? Concerns?
02:56It allowed me to walk in Natasha's shoes
02:59and kick ass in them too.
03:05I can tell you that each and every one of us is so grateful.
03:09Our lives are monumentally changed by our involvement in this world.
03:15To have taken such an instrumental role
03:18in what Marvel has done in the past ten years
03:20is just so incredibly meaningful to us.
03:22It's a cool experiment to be a part of.
03:24It's epic and classical.
03:27These characters are mythological characters in a lot of ways.
03:32I love all of you and I look forward to seeing many of you
03:36as we trudge this road of happy destiny.
03:39It's nice to look at how the legacy is living on
03:42in these other movies and other filmmakers.
03:45I don't think this has ever happened before in cinematic history
03:49of all these different franchises colliding
03:51and all these storylines that have started such a long time ago
03:54have all woven together.
03:56Who the hell are you guys?
03:57As the films have progressed with Civil War and now Infinity War,
04:01we're just going to continue to surprise people.
04:05There was an idea.
04:07To bring together a group of remarkable people.
04:13To see if we could become something more.
04:16Do what we call all of you.
