00:16Kensington. The Iraqi national, who says he came to the UK while fleeing torture in Baghdad,
00:22denied the charge of rape, but he was found guilty by a jury at Southwark Crown Court
00:27by a majority of 10-2 on Monday after a week-long trial. Judge Christopher Heahe remanded al-Maliki
00:34back into custody until sentencing on the 21st of April, when he was charged with rape,
00:39followed the court proceedings from the dock with an Arabic interpreter by his side.
