00:03Hopefully we have a good day again.
00:04Do you think it will be just seeing through his ovals and attacking other bowlers maybe?
00:09It's not necessarily going to be that per se.
00:11As I said, a bowler is allowed to miss and if he happens to miss, we do have to put
00:15it away.
00:16But that also means that if he does bowl well, we do have to accommodate for other things.
00:22Over here.
00:30I'm going to die.
00:35The other thing is the temperature difference in Ahmedabad at the moment, day time and night time.
00:40It's quite a difference, 15-17 degree difference.
00:43So obviously there could be a few here.
00:45They use chemicals and all that.
00:47Do you think that we don't have any impact on that and what?
00:52I think coming from Kolkata was a great opportunity to understand that dew factor.
00:57We were obviously lucky enough to win the toss and bat and I guess chase down 170 in a very
01:02limited number of overs, which is fantastic.
01:04So especially the boys up top, they used to play and apply strike rates and obviously all the Indian boys
01:10do the exact same.
01:12Obviously the dew factor is always a thing here in India this time of year.
01:16And whether the chemicals work or whether the dew is going to be a factor, if we do end up
01:21having to bat first and bowl second, then we're going to have to adapt as much as possible to that
01:26situation.
01:26And I guess go out there and try to execute our skills as much as possible.
01:31Whether we've got a wet ball or a dry ball, there's no real excuses.
01:34Last question over here.
01:36I think cricket is cricket at the end of the day.
01:40Everybody's trying to get the same position and I guess trying to perform as best they can for their country
01:45or whichever team they're playing against.
01:48Obviously we've got a few less people in our country to, I guess, have the luxury of choosing from.
01:53Which means obviously our high performance program has to be very specific and catered for the population that we've got.
01:59But obviously the talent that comes out of India is phenomenal.
02:01You know, they could probably pick three sides that would compete just as easily in this World Cup.
02:06So for us to go out and compete with teams around the world with such a small population is fantastic.
02:12But I think we put it down to a lot to our team culture, our preparation and I guess trying
02:17to do a little better.
