00:00The Mexican carteles are fueling and orchestrating much of the bloodshed and chaos in this hemisphere
00:07and the United States government will do whatever is necessary to defend our national security
00:12and to protect the safety of the American people.
00:15No, look, it all comes, it's coming through Mexico.
00:18And I like the president very much.
00:21She's a very good person.
00:24She's got a beautiful voice, a beautiful woman, but beautiful voice.
00:30President, President, President, I said, let me eradicate the cartels.
00:35No, no, no, please, President.
00:38We have to eradicate them.
00:41We have to knock the hell out of them because they're getting worse.
00:45They're taking over their country.
00:47The cartels are running Mexico.
00:50We can't have that.
00:52Too close to us.
00:54Too close to you.
00:57But everything comes in through Mexico, mostly.
01:01At the same time, all of us must recommit to ensuring that law and order within our own nations,
01:08and that includes showing zero tolerance for the gang activity, tremendous gang activity.
01:14In Venezuela, we've got that's in much better shape than it ever has been.
01:19We've developed a great relationship in Venezuela.
01:22The savages who murder and rape with impunity must be permanently removed from society.
01:28We must not allow our criminal justice systems to be corrupted so that they protect these criminals
01:35and animals at the expense of your people.
01:38And for some reason, all over the world, this is a region that has problems that other regions don't have.
01:45They have different problems, but they don't have this problem.
01:48The United States last year, we achieved the largest drop in murder rate in recorded history.
01:55We have the lowest murder rate in 125 years.
01:59It's hard to believe because, I don't know, it's, you know, we allowed, we've got a lot of them out,
02:05but we, we allowed through the Biden policies and Obama, who was another terrible president, by the way,
02:11it was Barack Hussein Obama, terrible president.
02:14He was a divider, great divider.
02:17I call him the great divider.
02:19But, uh, they allowed a lot of people into our country that shouldn't be here,
02:25but in particular Biden, because Biden had no idea what he was doing.
02:28He had, he had no clue.
02:30It was being run by whoever got near the auto pen was running the country.
02:36He was the auto pen president.
02:38And frankly, they let at least 25 million people come in to our country,
02:43some from prison, some from mental institutions, gang members, the heads of gangs,
02:52the mentally insane, I'll tell you.
02:56People came in from mental institutions and insane as hell.
03:00And we took them.
03:01We had an open border policy.
03:03It's a policy divided and, and devised by idiots, but they poured into our country.
03:11So we went from the worst border in history to by far the best border.
03:14We have the best, strongest border that we've ever had.
03:17We have great people that did that job.
03:20By securing our border and cracking down on traffickers and smugglers,
03:24we've reduced the fentanyl pouring across our border by 67%.
03:31This is in our first year, you know, give me a little more time.
03:34We'll do better.
03:3667%, which is a number that's unthinkable.
03:38You know, they say if you could do 2%, 1%, but we got it down 67%.
03:44We got a lot of the murderers out.
03:46We had 11,888 murderers allowed in our country with this ridiculous open border policy that
03:53these eggheads put in.
03:55But we're also working closely with you on ending human smuggling and the implementing
04:01of the safe third country agreements, which are very important.
04:05In January, America's armed forces also ended the reign of one of the biggest cartel kingpins
04:11of all, with the Operation Absolute Resolve to bring outlaw dictator Nicolas Maduro to justice
04:22in a precision raid that nobody's ever seen anything like.
04:26This was in a very powerful military base, fort, and they went in and they took him out and
04:34they got him out and people couldn't believe it.
04:38They couldn't believe it.
04:39We were right into the heart and took him out.
04:43And it was nasty.
04:45It was about 18 minutes of pure violence.
04:50And we took him out.
04:52We lost nobody.
04:53Not one person was lost.
04:55Not one aircraft or no military equipment, zero.
05:00People have never seen anything like it.
05:02And you're talking about into a military base with a lot of soldiers, good soldiers.
05:08Since that operation, we've been working closely with the new president of Venezuela,
05:13Delce Rodriguez, who's doing a great job working with us.
05:18I mean, she's doing a great job because she's working with us.
05:20If she wasn't working with us, I would not say she's doing a great job.
05:24In fact, if she wasn't working with us, I'd say she's doing a very poor job.
05:29Unacceptable.
05:30No, but she's doing a great job, Marco, right?
05:33And she gets along great with Marco.
05:35And we're taking out tremendous amounts of oil.
05:38They're getting, they're making more money now than they've ever made, ever made.
05:43We have the big oil companies.
05:45And they are getting, making more money.
05:48We're getting some.
05:49They're getting a lot.
05:51They're making more money now than they've ever made in the history of their country.
05:55Can you imagine?
05:57And it's being spent properly.
05:59And they're, they're watching it closely.
06:01And I'm pleased to say that this week we have formally recognized the Venezuelan government.
06:07We've actually legally recognized them.
06:10We have also just reached a historic gold deal.
06:13It's called the gold deal with Venezuela to allow our two countries to work together
06:18to facilitate the sale of Venezuelan gold and other minerals.
06:23They have great amounts of gold.
06:25Good land.
06:27Tell you, very good land.
06:29But they weren't able to take it.
06:31The system didn't allow them to take advantage of the value of their land.
06:36As we achieve a historic transformation in Venezuela, we're also looking forward to the
06:43great change that will soon be coming to Cuba.
06:46Cuba's at the end of the line.
06:48They're very much at the end of the line.
06:51They have no money.
06:52They have no oil.
06:54They have a bad philosophy.
06:56They have a bad regime that's been bad for a long time.
07:03And they used to get the money from Venezuela.
07:05They get the oil from Venezuela.
07:08But they don't have any money from Venezuela.
07:11They don't have any oil.
07:11They don't have anything from, people can't even, they land in Cuba.
07:16They can't get gasoline to fly out.
07:19They have to leave their planes behind.
07:21And they want to negotiate.
07:23And they are negotiating with Marco and myself and some others.
07:27And I would think a deal would be made very easily with Cuba.
07:32But for 50 years, I've been hearing, as a little boy, I'd be hearing about Cuba.
07:37You know, Cuba's a disaster.
07:39But I've been hearing so much about Cuba.
07:41But Cuba's in its last moments of life, as it was.
07:45It'll have a great new life.
07:47But it's in its last moments of life the way it is.
07:52And, but our focus right now is on Iran.
07:55And we'll do that.
07:57I would say, what will you do?
07:58Take about two days off, Marco?
08:00No, he won't.
08:01Maybe an hour.
08:02He'll take one hour off.
08:03And then he'll finish up a deal on Cuba.
08:07That'll be an easy one.
08:09But it'll be the entire region that we're doing that.
08:13Many of you have come today and they say, I hope you can take care of Cuba because you've
08:16had problems with Cuba, right?
08:17You mentioned, I was surprised.
08:19But four of you said, actually, could you do us a favor?
08:25Take care of Cuba.
08:26I'll take care of it.
08:27Okay.
08:33So, and as these situations in Venezuela and Cuba should make clear under a new doctrine,
08:40and it is a doctrine, we will not allow hostile foreign influence to gain a foothold in this
08:46hemisphere.
08:47That includes the Panama Canal, which we talked about.
08:50We're not going to allow it.
08:51And together, we'll protect our sovereignty, our security, and our cherished freedom.
08:56And independence.
08:58And just in finishing up, the nations gathered here today are filled with unlimited potential.
09:05You have tremendous potential.
09:07It's a great, a great part of the world.
09:11But to fulfill that tremendous potential, we must smash the grip of the cartels and criminal
09:17gangs and horrible organizations run by, in some cases, absolute animals and truly liberate
09:27through our people.
