Lebanese displaced by Israeli bombardment sleep in Beirut's streets

Beirut's streets are lined with dozens of makeshift encampments after an unprecedented Israeli evacuation warning for the entirety of Beirut's southern suburbs sent thousands in search of safety. Lebanon has been swept up in the Middle East's war, after the Iran-backed armed Lebanese group Hezbollah fired missiles at Israel to avenge the death of Iranian leader Ali Khamenei.
