Iranian drone attack suspends flights at Dubai International airport

A drone attack near the main terminals of Dubai International Airport temporarily suspended operations on Saturday morning just after Iran announced that it would no longer target neighbouring countries and apologising for the past attacks.

00:00An Iranian drone attacked near the main terminals of Dubai International Airport.
00:06Temporarily suspended operations this morning.
00:09Black smoke could be seen above the airport terminal following a loud bang.
00:14We are hearing that operations are slowly resuming.
00:18Euronews correspondent Lily Dows was actually on board an Emirates flight on the tarmac,
00:24ready to depart when the attack happened.
00:26She was evacuated to a safe space underground in the main terminal with her fellow passengers.
00:33Now this comes as the Iranian Interim Leadership Council just yesterday said
00:37they would not attack neighbouring countries unless they were attacked by them first.
00:43Now the public alert warnings have been ringing out across the UAE and also in Qatar this morning
00:50as people were advised to take cover.
00:53And obviously the governments are continuing to manage and monitor the situation.
