Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Saturday (March 7) visited PAS Spiritual Leader Datuk Hashim Jasin, who is currently undergoing treatment at Penang Hospital.

Anwar, on a one-day working visit to Penang and Kedah, said that Hashim, an old friend, is in good condition, and that they even had the opportunity to speak at length.

00:31Hashim was transferred from Tuanku Fauzia Hospital in Perlis to Penang Hospital on February 18 for a
00:39stenting procedure. During the visit, Anwar met a Ministry of Health nurse who had been involved
00:45in a road accident on her way to work, praising the sacrifices of healthcare workers for their
00:50dedication to the community. Before leaving, the Prime Minister, who also serves as Finance
00:56Minister, received an update on the hospital's upgrading project, aimed at improving healthcare
01:02healthcare services for the benefit of the people.
