00:00Right in the busting heart of Bangkok, Juala Lungan University is proving that sustainability isn't just a theory, it's a
00:08practice.
00:09Welcome to Juala Green Life, where students are taking leads moving beyond the classroom to tackle real-world environmental challenges
00:17heads-on.
00:18Taking our work in non-province while partnering with local cacao farmers, our students spotted a massive problem behind the
00:26plain sight, agricultural waste.
00:28Every year, Tainan generates over 18,000 tons of cacao waste, shells, pots, defective beans that simply rot away and
00:38becoming a heavy burden on the environment.
00:40But at Juala, we see waste as a resource. Our researcher and student didn't only improve cacao farming, they innovated.
00:48By transforming those discarded pots into a leak block for Keto, they created a brilliant circular solution.
00:54Not only does this add value to the farmer's waste, but it also improved the quality of meat and milk.
01:00The environmental results? Truly remarkable.
01:03We have ensured that not a single ton of cacao waste was wasted.
01:07Even better, this innovation slashed methane emission by staggering 44%.
01:12This isn't just a local success story.
01:15This project took Juala Long Con University all the way to the Enactus World Cup, representing Thailand and breaking into
01:23top 16 globally.
01:25It's a perfect example of Juala Green Life Spirit, turning critical thinking into green innovation and ensuring our students have
01:33the heart and the tools to change the world.
01:36I am Kocha Son Panarang Si from School of Agricultural Resources, Juala Long Con University.
