04:38So turn 15 is Stowe and we arrive at Stowe with Lewis Hamilton up into second place in this race.
04:45Second place in the championship, reducing that margin that Max Verstappen had at the start of this race.
04:52Now the hunt is on. This is it.
04:56Did Perez and Raikkonen make contact? I think if they didn't, Raikkonen certainly ran out of space, went over the
05:02kerb and that caused the spin.
05:05Hamilton was three tenths quicker through the middle sector on this lap. He was three tenths quicker in the first
05:10sector on this lap.
05:11The gap is now less than one and a half seconds. This race is boiling down to a boilingly brilliant
05:19last three laps.
05:22Meanwhile, Sergio Perez has pitted for a change of tyres to put on the soft tyre to steal the fastest
05:28lap point from Lewis Hamilton.
05:30But he won't, will he? He's not in the top ten.
05:32No, but he'll stop Hamilton getting it. He won't get a point for him, but he'll steal that point from
05:36Perez.
05:37Right, remember what happened at Cobb's on lap one. Here goes Hamilton on lap 50. Oh, and he tries to
05:44get past Leclerc and goes off the track.
05:46Has Hamilton got through? Yes, he has. He's into the lead. By the time they get into Maggots, it was
05:52almost another Cobb's collision.
05:54But Hamilton has put his Mercedes into the lead. Charles Leclerc has led every single lap of this race.
06:01But on lap 50 he's now settling for second spot. Hamilton has picked up the reins since the restart.
06:08He's chased down the prancing horse. He chases the jagged flag. He wins the British Grand Prix for an eighth
06:15time here at Silverstone.
06:18And Hamilton is back in the championship hunt. Don't you forget it. Charles Leclerc comes home to take second place.

06:33hope that he is okay after being taken to hospital for precautionary checks.
