00:16rate of speed. They say Spears was alone in the vehicle and she showed signs of impairment due
00:21to the influence of a combination of alcohol and drugs. She underwent a series of field
00:26sobriety tests and was booked into detention late Wednesday. A representative for Spears did not
00:31immediately respond to a request for comment. In 2007, Spears was charged with one count of hit
00:37and run causing property damage and one count of driving without a valid California driver's license,
00:42both misdemeanors. The pop star regained control of her personal life and finances in 2021 when a
00:48judge ended her father's 13-year conservatorship that included her $60 million estate.
