00:00And the next schools we're building might be the hardest of them all, all the way in Ecuador.
00:05Imagine living so far into the jungle that you're left to fend for yourself.
00:09Well, that's the reality for these next two schools.
00:12And because they have no help this far into the rainforest, we're doing everything it takes to get there.
00:17We have to take two plane rides. We're now on a three-hour boat ride.
00:21Then we have to off-road for an hour and a half!
00:24And when we arrived, we learned how the rain prevents these kids from learning.
00:28No podía dar clase cuando yo iba y era imposible.
00:31Thin roots make it absolutely impossible to hear anybody in here.
00:35Students, they cannot learn anything without proper conditions.
00:38How high do the waters get?
00:39You guys above your needs.
00:40Forget about learning, that's just dangerous.
00:42So we got to replace in the old weathered schools with two brand new elevated schools,
00:47specifically designed to ensure all the students are safe from the rain.
00:51More than 50 kids now are able to come back to school with their better conditions.
00:55¿Están niños están contentos?
00:58And to welcome the hundreds of students these schools will educate over their lifetime,
01:02we replaced their dangerous wooden bridge with a much safer metal bridge.
01:07And now these kids don't have to be in fear every time they go to school.
01:11And now that these kids have a fun place to learn,
01:14we're off to help others do the same all the way in the United States.
01:17Oak Creek Academy is a school for students that have neurodivergent needs,
01:21try to provide different opportunities for them to grow and excel in a safe space.
01:25How's it going, everybody?
01:27And the best place for this group of students to learn isn't inside the classroom,
01:31but rather outside the school.
01:33Data shows that neurodivergent kids learn better outside in the wilderness
01:37than when they're cramped together inside a room.
01:39Which is why I teamed up with Lowe's to build the perfect learning center for these kids.
01:43Everyone you see wearing red works for Lowe's and is volunteering on their own time
01:48to give these kids a space where they can learn and excel.
01:51How is building this place going to help with the kids?
01:53This place is going to become a new type of environment that they currently don't have
01:56where they have permission to play with nature.
01:58So basically this is like an earthly version of a playground.
02:01Yeah.
02:01In a previous video, we talked about how Lowe's wanted to make 10 million square feet of impact.
02:05And they actually crushed their goal.
02:07And this year, they're actually committed to over 2,000 projects of impact
02:10and more than 200,000 volunteer hours nationwide.
02:14Bring in the mold.
02:15My bad.
02:16I missed Slyly.
02:16My bad.
02:17I did that on purpose.
02:18Helping people has been a part of Lowe's' DNA for over 100 years.
02:23So I want to say thank you so much, Lowe's, for being a partner with us
02:25and just your commitment to doing good all around the world.
02:28We got ourselves a playhouse.
02:28I hope they really like that.
02:30This is heavy.
02:31If you want to learn more, can just go to our link in the description
02:33and you can see how you can get involved.
02:35And after putting the finishing touches on the rest of this learning center,
02:39it was finally time to bring these children to their new classroom.
02:42The kids are just so excited.
02:44What a gift.
02:45It's just way more open, way more natural,
02:47and just provides way more opportunities for imagination and creativity.
02:50Thank you, Mr. Beast.
02:51Tell me you, Mr. Beast.
