00:17the accused is alleged to have committed unnatural sexual intercourse against a 25-year-old woman
00:23at a condominium in Taman-OUG, Brickfields, at 11 p.m. on February 26. He faces the second charge
00:30of outraging the modesty of the same victim at the same location and time. The first charge,
00:35filed under Section 377B of the Penal Code, carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and
00:41whipping. The molestation charge under Section 354 is punishable by up to 10 years' imprisonment,
00:47a fine, whipping or any two of these punishments.
00:50Deputy Public Prosecutor Wafa Zainal Abedin, who is handling the case, did not recommend bail.
00:56The accused has no legal representation. The court set March 30 for submission of documents.
