Feel free to tell everyone I’m the monster in your story.
But don’t forget to mention the chapter where you lied. The chapter where you pushed. The chapter where you crossed lines and called it love. The chapter where silence became louder than respect.
Every villain has an origin.
And sometimes the “monster” was just someone who finally stopped tolerating what hurt them.
It’s easy to simplify a narrative. It’s harder to admit the role you played in writing it.
Some of you were painted as difficult because you set boundaries. You were called cold because you stopped overgiving. You were labeled toxic because you refused to stay quiet.
Let them tell the story however they want.
Just remember — people often rewrite history to avoid accountability.
And if protecting your peace makes you the villain in someone’s version…
Wear the title with clarity.
Because monsters don’t set boundaries. Healed people do.
