00:00Look who finally showed up!
00:02Hudson! Hudson!
00:06Yeah, yeah!
00:08Welcome to Ms. Mojo.
00:10And today, we're counting down our picks for the most delightful moments when an SNL host decided that one famous
00:16face simply wasn't enough,
00:17and recruited their co-star to crash the party.
00:20That's okay, you know, I'm feeling good. I've memorized all my lines.
00:24Oh my god, no, no! The lines change like every five minutes, you have to use the cue cards.
00:27Wait, what?
00:27You're gonna be great. Okay, goodbye?
00:29Okay, what? Whoa!
00:35Who doesn't love a good movie promo, especially when it involves an unexpected cameo?
00:40KK, you look great. Tell us about your new book.
00:43It's called...
00:47Pounce on It.
00:49The Order's Lady's Guide to Bagging the Younger Maze.
00:53When Ashton Kutcher took the reins in this episode, he brought along his What Happens in Vegas co-star Cameron
00:59Diaz.
01:00She popped up during the hilarious Cougar Den sketch, playing a cougar who writes a guide instructing women on how
01:06to bag younger men.
01:07I broke it into three easy steps, okay? Step one, lighting. Ladies, stay away from the lights. Don't even go
01:16into it.
01:17Diaz shows off impressive comedic skills here, and manages to outshine seasoned performers like Amy Poehler and Kristen Wiig.
01:24She is later joined by Kutcher, playing her much younger boy toy who is more than eager to get rid
01:29of her.
01:29There's so many reasons I prefer older women. Like, they usually have tricked-out kitchens, and sometimes they got those
01:39donut makers. Those are good. And their ex-husbands have been pretty cool so far.
01:43It was the perfect pre-release buzz for their film, showcasing their on-screen chemistry before the movie hit theaters.
01:53In the third season of everyone's favorite Rich People Problems series, The White Lotus, Oscar-winning actor Sam Rockwell managed
02:00to steal the show with just one scene.
02:02And I got in my head that what I really wanted was to be one of these Asian girls getting
02:09f***ed by me and to feel that.
02:13When his co-star Walton Goggins hosted SNL, Rockwell showed up yet again to do the same thing.
02:19In the pre-taped sketch Tiny Baby Shoe, Goggins plays an adult man with tiny baby feet who seems to
02:25be missing his shoes.
02:26Yeah, I'm a fully grown-ass fan. With tiny baby feet. And I'd really be so grateful if you get
02:38my shoe back to me.
02:41His conversation with Jane Wickline's character is suddenly interrupted by Sam Rockwell, who drops by to sum up the apparent
02:47moral lesson of the sketch.
02:49Rockwell's cameo felt like a sly wink to fans, especially considering the premise of this sketch is just as absurd
02:55as his character's exploits.
02:56in The White Lotus.
02:57I think we're all set.
02:58Excuse me! I'm talking!
03:00You know what? I don't need to explain myself to you, to you. I'm leaving. I'm out of here.
03:09Number 8. Jamie Foxx and Charlie Day.
03:12Nobody asked for a Horrible Bosses reunion on Studio 8-H, yet here we are, completely delighted by it.
03:18When Jamie Foxx hosted in Season 38, Charlie Day crashed the party,
03:22joining Foxx and then cast member Jason Sudeikis in the main justice sketch.
03:27Congressman Kerry!
03:29Uh, what do you did see up in there?
03:31Oh, I see this boy! He been running headwater all day!
03:34Yeah?
03:35You know, like he's trying to dig up the old bayou or something?
03:37The three had starred together in the 2011 dark comedy Horrible Bosses,
03:41and watching them bounce off each other again was genuinely electric.
03:45When Sudeikis and Foxx played the courtroom judge and bailiff respectively,
03:49Day appeared as a rather casually dressed eight-term congressman testifying on behalf of the plaintiff.
03:54What you trying to make a fool out of?
03:56Yeah, but let's have one, don't rule that, my man,
03:59cause ain't nobody make a fool out of the good people of Maine,
04:02except in the law themselves!
04:03His high-strung delivery meshed perfectly with Sudeikis and Foxx's manic energy.
04:08Indeed, sometimes the best reunions are the ones nobody saw coming.
04:13Yeah, or maybe there's a space-time portal,
04:16and we spend half our time in Maine and half in New Orleans,
04:19and we've started to mix the two up.
04:21That's what it is.
04:23Number 7. Rami Malek and Daniel Craig
04:25In this sketch, host Rami Malek and Kenan Thompson compete to snatch the titular role
04:30in an upcoming Prince biopic, directed by Jordan Peele.
04:34Now, show me Prince getting pelted in the legs with a football.
04:42Now do Prince stepping on a Lego.
04:47Each brings their own interpretation to the material,
04:49which is pretty much the same, until Daniel Craig suddenly barges in.
04:54Craig, Malek's co-star in the James Bond film No Time To Die,
04:58arrives dressed in royal garb,
05:00apparently convinced he's auditioning not to play the iconic musician,
05:03but an actual Prince.
05:15It's a sharp and silly subversion, but Craig gives it his all,
05:19showcasing an unexpectedly hilarious side to himself.
05:22The James Bond star also resurfaced later in the Angelo sketch,
05:25playing one half of a couple at a decidedly strange performance show.
05:29Is this always what he does?
05:31I know. It's amazing, right?
05:33I mean, I can't really understand him.
05:36Number 6. Sydney Sweeney and Glenn Powell
05:39Sydney Sweeney's monologue during her SNL hosting debut was already sharp and self-aware,
05:44but it really ignited when she addressed the elephant in the room,
05:47her much-publicized, rumored romance with Anyone But You co-star Glenn Powell.
05:51But I'd say the craziest rumor I've seen is that while I was filming Anyone But You,
05:56I was having an affair with my co-star Glenn Powell.
06:00That's obviously not true.
06:03Rather than deflecting, she leaned straight into it,
06:06clarifying that she wasn't dating Powell and actually had a fiancé.
06:09This then triggered a cutaway to Powell delivering a perfectly-timed reaction.
06:14He even came here tonight to support me. Can we, uh, cut to him?
06:22Yeah, no! That's not my fiancé! He's in my dressing room!
06:26Powell later reappeared in the Loud Table Restaurant sketch,
06:29playing the boss of Sweeney's character,
06:31someone she's cheating on her husband with, naturally.
06:34The two may not be a real-life couple,
06:36but their undeniable chemistry made every shared second on that stage crackle with comedic tension.
06:42Hey, baby cakes.
06:47Want to get out of here?
06:49Yeah. Sorry.
06:52Aw, man!
06:53Number five.
06:54Connor Story and Hudson Williams.
06:56Two of the biggest breakout stars of 2025 were Connor Story and Hudson Williams,
07:01the lead actors in the immensely popular Canadian TV show Heated Rivalry.
07:06In February 2026, Story made his hosting debut on SNL,
07:10bringing his years of improv and clown training to Studio 8H.
07:14Okay, you guys.
07:17I am Mr. Ronzy.
07:20My wife is deadly alerted.
07:23To my penis.
07:25Oh, and he also brought with him co-star Hudson Williams,
07:28who made an appearance in the ice skating sketch.
07:31The Heated Rivalry stars play two friends who reunite on a skating rink,
07:34while a troubled couple tries unsuccessfully to work out the flaws in their relationship.
07:39Look who finally showed up.
07:42Hudson!
07:43Hudson!
07:45Yeah, dude!
07:48Hudson!
07:49It's the kind of cameo that rewards viewers already invested in Heated Rivalry,
07:53while also giving casual SNL fans something genuinely entertaining to latch onto.
07:58Sorry I'm late, fellas.
08:01But I have a serious question.
08:03Yeah.
08:06Who's ready to skate their butts off?
08:08Number four.
08:09Jonah Hill and Leonardo DiCaprio.
08:12There are SNL cameos,
08:13and then there's Leonardo DiCaprio casually walking onto the Studio 8H stage.
08:18When Jonah Hill hosted following his Oscar nomination for The Wolf of Wall Street,
08:21the monologue kept circling back to his co-star,
08:24as the audience grew increasingly more excited about Leo than him.
08:28Which, fair.
08:29What is it like working with Leonardo DiCaprio?
08:32Oh, I wasn't, uh, really opening up the floor for questions,
08:36but okay, uh, Leo, which is short for Leonardo,
08:39you know, he's a terrific guy.
08:41He's still, you know, learning, but he's obviously a huge star.
08:44Then impossibly DiCaprio walked out.
08:47His one and only SNL appearance,
08:49and he used it to publicly call Hill out for getting too big for his boots.
08:53Why don't you just be honest about what you're doing right now?
08:56Seriously.
09:01I was, uh, I was, like, being a big shot.
09:05He then capped it all off by reenacting one of Titanic's most iconic scenes.
09:09It's spontaneous, self-deprecating, and absolutely unforgettable.
09:13The surprise factor alone sent the audience into a frenzy,
09:17but it was the self-deprecating tone that made the moment genuinely hilarious.
09:21I'm crying, Janet!
09:24Yes, Rose!
09:26Yes, you're flying!
09:28Number 3.
09:29Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper, and Ed Helms
09:32Zach Galifianakis turned absurdity up to 11 during his Season 38 hosting gig,
09:37in this sketch about a Jennifer Aniston look-alike contest.
09:40After it is announced that he has lost,
09:42Galifianakis' character goes onstage to cause a scene.
09:45He doesn't interrupt, but obviously there's been a mistake here.
09:48I'm afraid not, Paul. You, uh, you got a...
09:50How's that even possible?!
09:52I mean, look at me, I'm perfect!
09:54Ah, well, you know, the judges didn't think so, so...
09:57Yeah, who are the judges?
09:58Mr. Magoo and Helen Keller?!
10:00Things only escalate when the winning contestants are revealed as Bradley Cooper and Ted Pelms,
10:05thinly-veiled aliases for Galifianakis' Hangover co-stars Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms.
10:10The reveal reframed the entire bit, transforming it into a chaotic reunion of sorts.
10:15You know, you may look exactly like Jennifer Aniston on the outside, but on the inside, you're a total Helen
10:26Keller!
10:27Watching the trio reunite under such a bizarre premise felt perfectly on-brand for Galifianakis' style of humor.
10:32The sketch ended with the contestants belting, that's what friends are for, hilariously mistaking it for the friends theme.
10:39Keep smiling, keep shining, knowing you can always count on me.
10:47It's not the friends theme, guys.
10:48Is that?
10:49Good.
10:50That's what friends are for!
10:53Number 2, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield.
10:57Do not mind me, I'm not even here, I'm not even here, I just wanted to say you're doing so
11:00great.
11:00Oh, thanks!
11:01Thank you, you know, I really only just walked out.
11:05Yeah, that walk was like, whoa!
11:07Two hosts, two monologues, two years apart, and somehow one of the most charming running bits in recent SNL history.
11:14When Emma Stone hosted in Season 37, she discussed her upcoming role as Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man.
11:21I play Spider-Man's girlfriend Gwen Stacy, who is a dynamic and brilliant science student.
11:26Not to be confused with Spider-Man's other girlfriend Mary Jane Watson, who is a skank and doesn't love him
11:31like I do.
11:32This prompted Andy Samberg to descend from the ceiling upside down in a Spider-Man costume, auditioning for the lead
11:38role.
11:38However, Andrew Garfield himself appeared to confirm he'd already been cast, sending Samberg into a very American spiral about British
11:46actors stealing Hollywood jobs.
11:47I'm sorry mate, but I am also playing Spider-Man.
11:50He's British!
11:52Oh, America's suffering record unemployment and we outsourced Spider-Man to England?
11:58Oh, I'm so angry about this, I could flip out!
12:01Two years later, Garfield hosted and Stone returned the favor, appearing both in his monologue and in the Spider-Man
12:08kiss sketch,
12:09where the two recreated their character's awkward on-set romance from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, genuinely magical television.
12:16No, I love the way you guys played that, I just feel like the kiss was a little off.
12:20Oh, really?
12:21Yeah.
12:22I thought that was actually, that was pretty hot, but...
12:24Okay, well, maybe let's try one that's just a little more natural.

12:43Number 1. Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt
12:46During his opening monologue for this April 2024 episode, Gosling proved he still hadn't shaken off his Kennergy,
12:53nearly one year after the release of the Barbie movie.
12:55You know, when you play a character that hard, that long, just letting go just feels like a breakup.
13:04He launched into a parody of Taylor Swift's All Too Well, pruning about his inability to let go of the
13:09character,
13:10until Emily Blunt crashed the monologue.
13:12Gosling's co-star in The Fall Guy, Blunt arrived to stop the endless Barbie promotion
13:17and steer the conversation toward their upcoming action comedy.
13:20What are you doing?
13:22I'm promoting our movie.
13:23No, you're not. No, you're not. We had a whole Fall Guy monologue planned, a bunch of stunts,
13:27it was gonna be epic. I was gonna hit you with things and instead you're singing about Ken, again.
13:31The joke had brilliant layering, considering Blunt also starred in Oppenheimer, the other half of the cultural juggernaut that was
13:38Barbenheimer.
13:39She eventually admitted to missing their record-breaking summer and joined Gosling for an explosive, no pun intended, finale.
13:55Did we miss a co-star cameo that had you losing it on the couch? Let us know in the
14:00comments below.
