00:02Good afternoon, everyone.
00:05Under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump.
00:08I'll tell you two on two separate issues, Caroline.
00:11First, what can you tell us about the military operation in Ecuador?
00:15With respect to Ecuador, I would point you back to the statement released by the U.S. Southern Command.
00:19On March 3rd, Ecuadorian and U.S. military forces launched operations against designated terrorist organizations.
00:26These operations are a powerful example of the commitment of partners in Latin America and the Caribbean to combat the
00:33scourge of narco-terrorism.
00:34And together, we are taking decisive action to confront narco-terrorists who have long inflicted terror, violence, and corruption on
00:41citizens throughout the hemisphere.
00:43And with on that, I would also add that this weekend, I'm pleased to announce the President will welcome the
00:48heads of state from 12 nations across our Western Hemisphere in Miami, Florida, on Saturday.
00:54The point of this newfound Latin America summit is to promote freedom, security, and prosperity in our region.
01:01The following countries will be in attendance.
01:03Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama, Paraguay, Trinidad, and Tobago, and maybe some
01:14others as well.
01:15And the President will be speaking with the leaders of this country who have really formed a historic coalition to
01:21work together to address criminal narco-terrorist gangs and cartels,
01:25encounter illegal and mass migration into not only the United States but the Western Hemisphere, which remains a key and
01:31top priority of this President.
01:33Thank you very much, everyone.
01:35And you'll see the President yourselves in an hour.
01:36Have fun.
01:37Thank you.
01:38Have fun.
01:38Thank you.
01:39Thank you.
01:39Thank you.
01:39Thank you.
