With news that the UK has allowed the USA to use our air bases to strike against targets in the Middle East, we ask people on our streets their thoughts on this.
Transcript
00:00I just prefer peace, you know, so if UK is trying to involve, you know, UK should do some strategy
00:04towards peace, not, you know, like, involve into more conflict situations, you know, so they should rather adopt some strategy
00:11that focuses towards peace talk and that's it. I know that's not going to happen, but...
00:16I think, to be honest, it's more the US's problem. Personally, I don't know. What do you take on that?
00:22I don't know. I feel like it's a tricky one. I think everybody's always going to have different opinions and
00:26we don't know what's going on behind the scenes in our government, so we don't know.
00:31And I suppose they're trying to keep us in a better position of possible because I think if the US
00:39start anything, we kind of need them because we haven't got as much as they do.
00:48But, what can you say? That's the way the cookie crumbles, I think. It's, yeah, I think it's a risk
00:54of being dragged in, but I do think we should stand by allies.
00:57As long as they stand by us as well, it all goes best here for us.
