Donald Trump ha dichiarato di credere che l'Iran avrebbe "attaccato per primo" e che "potrebbe aver forzato la mano di Israele" a lanciare attacchi contro Teheran, parlando dalla Casa Bianca, dove stava incontrando il cancelliere tedesco Friedrich Merz. "Dato l'andamento dei negoziati, penso che l'Iran avrebbe attaccato per primo. E non volevo che ciò accadesse. Quindi potrei aver forzato la mano di Israele", ha affermato il presidente degli Stati Uniti.
