00:00Mr. President, what exactly was he in the United States?
00:03You've asked. Not your turn. Not your turn. Please.
00:07Mr. President, do you — have you been to take the heat off
00:11with Europeans to present to be healthy?
00:13Mark Routin called on the Allies to also help you.
00:17What does that mean?
00:19Well, you have to ask Mark Routin, and he said,
00:21not as part of NATO, but to be helpful to you in this.
00:25Well, some of the European nations have been helpful,
00:27and some haven't. And I'm, you know, very surprised.
00:31Germany has been great. He's been terrific.
00:35Others have been very good. Terrific.
00:38I think that the head of NATO, Mark, is fantastic.
00:42Okay? Mark Routin, I think he's fantastic.
00:46But some of the European — like, Spain has been terrible.
00:50In fact, I told Scott to cut off all dealings with Spain.
00:55I mean, Spain — first of all, it started when every —
00:58every European nation, at my request, paid 5 percent,
01:01which they should be doing.
01:03And everybody was enthusiastic about it — Germany, everybody.
01:07And Spain didn't do it.
01:08And now Spain actually said that we can't use their bases.
01:13And that's all right. We don't — we could use their base.
01:15If we want, we could just fly in and use it.
01:17Nobody's going to tell us not to use it.
01:19But we don't have to. But they were unfriendly.
01:23And so I told him, we don't want to —
01:25Spain has absolutely nothing that we need,
01:28other than great people. They have great people.
01:30But they don't have great leadership.
01:32And as you know, they were the only country
01:34that in NATO would not agree to go up to 5 percent.
