Cobble Beach Classics returns to the Canadian International AutoShow 2026 with one of the most extraordinary curated collector car exhibits in North America. Filmed in stunning 4K HDR 60p, this exclusive showcase spans over 100 years of automotive history — from a 1906 Canadian-built Russell to a 2003 BMW Alpina Z8 Roadster.

Presented by the prestigious Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance & Motoring Festival, this must-see exhibit features eight ultra-rare, historically significant collector automobiles, generously supported by private collectors, renowned museums, and the GM Heritage Collection.

From brass-era innovation and coachbuilt European luxury to American muscle, Italian supercars, and modern German performance engineering, this exhibit showcases the dramatic evolution of automotive artistry, design, and performance.

The Cobble Beach Classics display has been a fan-favourite at the Canadian International AutoShow since 2015, drawing enthusiasts, photographers, historians, and collectors eager to see rare machines seldom displayed publicly.

00:23This car is a 1906 Russell Model B.
00:27It was built in Leeside, Ontario, which was essentially Bayview and Moore Avenue.
00:33And it's a really special car. It's still driven a lot by the owner, and we're so lucky to have
00:38this car still alive.
00:40There were not a lot of them built, and so I think it's particularly attractive.
00:45This car won its class at Cobble Beach last year, and it is a wonderful survivor.

01:33The other cars in this exhibit, the 1924 Delage.
01:37That car has the body by Laborde, and it's a special car. It was in the movie Chariots of Fire.
01:44Again, a very interesting car. 1924, 100 horsepower.
01:51And it has a front, and it has a rear, like a Phaeton.
01:54Beautiful Oakwood car with a mahogany boat tail and an aluminum bonnet.

02:35Behind it is the 1927 Duesenberg Model X. It was the only one built of that Roadster style and it
02:43was built for the Chicago World's Fair in 1928. Again, a wonderful car, no windshield wipers.
03:14The car behind it is a 1971 Cuda, Barracuda, 340 Hemi engine in it. One of the first Cudas built.

05:01And then the car just behind it
05:03is a 1961 Macko Shark.
05:06It was a concept car built by Bill Mitchell,
05:09who was then the director of General Motors.
05:11He was the chief designer of General Motors.
05:14And he built that car.
05:17It's a little bit longer than a normal Corvette.
05:19From that car came the 1963 split window,
05:23the Gen 2, the C2 Corvette.
05:25Bill Mitchell did some incredible work with that car,
05:29400 horsepower.
05:40In the middle of the C2 Corvette,
05:43the engine for the C2 Corvette.
06:02Over in the far corner we have a 1972 Lamborghini SV Miura, again another wonderful special car
06:09and we're so lucky to have that here with us.
06:46And then finally we have the two
06:472003 BMW Z8 Alpena version, a very rare model.
