02:08There are good players on this Dallas team
02:14Jason Kidd
02:17This is the Western Conference Finals, the NBA Finals, or just completely missed the playoffs, boom or bust, Wallace on
02:24the drive and the floater is good.
02:26That's a quick action too before Gaffer could get up in the air, the shot blocker in the middle for
02:31the Mavericks.
02:35Middleton has been very quiet, just one for six. Not the same kind of offensive player that he was. He's
02:43a three-time all-star and right on cue. He might have heard me there.
02:45Yeah. Say that he's been quiet on the offensive end because he drains one from 17 feet.
02:50Next time just speak about him after he takes the shot.
02:56Jay the high arc on that one. Look how high he got on the release.
03:00Almost like he was trying to shoot her over Gafford.
03:06But Gafford wasn't around.
03:09Middleton still got some game left in him.
03:13He's one of those guys who have won an NBA championship with the Milwaukee Bucks.
03:18Look at that shot you were talking about, partner.
03:20There's that lift.
03:21Martin's trying to get to it.
03:23No one's going to get to that.
03:26It really is impressive just how high he is able to get.
03:30What is a true jump shot?
03:32Gafford got caught on the sideline.
03:34Trying to throw it off.
03:35Hartenstein couldn't do it.
03:36Turned it over.
03:37That's good pressure too.
03:40Really good pressure on Gafford.
03:41It's tough to do that.
03:46It's been a rough night for Middleton.
03:47I mean, when he's gone up against SGA one-on-one, it hasn't ended well for him.
03:51And there he picks up a bad foul out on the perimeter.
03:53Yeah, how about this?
03:54Look at these two guys.
03:55Too strong.
03:55Two pilots.
03:56Two of the strongest guys in the NBA.
03:57Gafford tries to throw it off his body.
04:00Unfortunate bounce.
04:02As it went right back to Hartenstein.
04:04See if the Thunder can cash in those chips on that one.
04:06And they do just that.
04:07That's going to be two points off turnovers.
04:09A la the effort by Isaiah Hartstone.
04:13Part of SGA's brilliance this year, his efficiency, Michael, has gone up.
04:17He's 8 out of 13.
04:19He's up to 17 points.
04:23But coming off of leading the lead in scoring last year, he's going to average over 30 points
04:28per game for the fourth consecutive year.
04:29But the efficiency, he's shooting 55% from the field, is just remarkable.
04:36How do you guard him?
04:37I mean, he can shoot to three.
04:38He can play in the mid-range.
04:39He's got an amazing handle.
04:41You know, he's got an amazing combination of moves he can make when he picks up his dribble.
04:45So, we often joke around about that.
04:48It's just one of the most lethal scores in the game today, folks.
04:54There's a quick double team.
04:55And look what it leads to.
04:57Hartenstein.
04:59This is the little chippy.
05:01Had an opportunity to lay the speed from Williams.
05:05That time he's able to convert at the rim.
05:08Well, he can be an absolute blur.
05:12Holmgren had it poked away on the back side.
05:15This is Dallas.
05:16Transition points.
05:18Christie off the catch.
05:19And it was on target but a little bit short.
05:22Williams' offensive rebound.
05:23Christie over to Martin.
05:26He's thinking about it.
05:28Still thinking about it.
05:29The line drive.
05:30No.
05:30What about that battle that was going on underneath the basket between Chet and Gafford?
05:37Just mentioned Gafford's one of the strong men along with Hartenstein.
05:42And Shea got that screen.
05:43Open look from D.
05:46That one didn't go down.
05:47Just based off of his facial expression.
05:52And see what Middleton decides to do.
05:55This is what he likes over the course of his career.
05:57A lot of traffic inside.
05:59And Holmgren able to poke it away.
06:00And take it away from Gafford.
06:02Good job too.
06:03By chance to come over and help out and not let that play materialize.
06:09Looks like Holmgren had that basketball.
06:12Got stripped.
06:14And he brought it down.
06:16Just fourth for 21 from deep.
06:20Still have a nine-point lead.
06:22That's going to be a foul on SGA.
06:31I haven't shot it well from deep.
06:33But that's how reliable the offense has been in terms of getting inside.
06:38And that's one of the things that, you know, holds your game up, is your ability to score in the
06:43paint.
06:44Shooting is not going to always stay at a red-hot clip.
06:49But you can continue to attack that paint.
06:52And score buckets in there.
06:54It just, you know, it just buys you time.
06:57Middleton went to work.
06:59Well, short.
06:59Chet's length might have affected that shot.
07:03Wallace decided not to go one on three.
07:05Kept the dribble alive, though.
07:09Score.
07:11Looking to spring free.
07:13No good on the three.
07:15And Dallas again.
07:17Quickly off the floor.
07:18How about Wallace on the back side?
07:20Just raked it away from Williams.
07:22Now SGA, the finish high off the window.
07:25It's good.
07:26And it's OKC getting out of the move.
07:29And it's almost automatic any time SGA gets that close to the cut.
07:34And what a crafty steal by the steals leader in Kaysen Wallace.
07:38Caused an effect.
07:39You stripped the ball.
07:41Here's the effect.
07:42Just give it to the most games or lethal score.
07:44He's going to finish that.
07:48Central Oklahoma, the Spurs.
07:5011-game win streak is history.
07:52The Knicks dominated with some outstanding defense today at Madison Square Garden,
07:56where the Thunder will be on Wednesday.
07:58Another good matchup at the Western Conference.
08:00Denver loses again.
08:01This time the Minnesota, 117-108 to avoid the season sweep.
08:06And Detroit, despite making only four threes in the game,
08:09in the fewest, excuse me, tied to the second fewest threes in a win this season.
08:14Able to drop the Orlando Magic.
08:16And will not here for this game.
08:19Klay Thompson will not return.
08:21Right after contusion.
08:25Kaysen Wallace going to commit the foul there on Williams.
08:31How many threes, you said, the Spurs, excuse me, that Detroit made in the win?
08:37Four threes over Orlando.
08:39Two teams who really have a hard time from behind the three-point line.
08:48And that time Kaysen Wallace, he got clipped.
08:51It's going to be an offensive foul.
08:54He got clipped and then he went into Williams.
08:59Take a look at this.
09:00There's that leg way out there.
09:02Can't be outside your shoulders when you're setting the screen.
09:07At least by the letter of the law in the association.
09:11That's where Cissé was, he was committed to making contact no matter what.
09:15He was not in position to make contact, but he was committed to making contact.
09:19He sure was.
09:21Three-two zone defense now.
09:22Had seen that from the Mavericks.
09:25We ran a 2-3.
09:27Shea trying to turn the corner.
09:29Hartstein again on the push shot.
09:31Left it short.
09:32Battling.
09:33Trying to go over the top of Cissé.
09:35We're going to get a jump ball.
09:36We're going to get a foul.
09:37I think you can get a foul on Hardenstein.
09:39And that's what they rule.
09:40He's going to foul on a 55.
09:42I see a Hardenstein.
09:43Hardenstein picks up number three.
09:45Four-team title.
09:47Dallas ball.
09:50Anytime you go over the top like that, you're risking committing the foul.
09:57But I can't fault the effort.
09:58A lot of times he's ripped that ball away.
10:00But that time got caught.
10:03Williams.
10:03Back outside.
10:05Boyd close out there by Dort on Christy.
10:11One group out there for the Mavs.
10:15Cissé back up top.
10:16Two seconds.
10:17It's a Christy.
10:17Three no good.
10:19And Dort helping out on the rebounding.
10:21How about Dort on Cissé?
10:23Bigger defender or player.
10:27Was able to box him out.
10:30The end result is to come to get a three.
10:33About to get one to go down here.
10:35Three that's been hard to find on the night.
10:38He just zipped right across sideline to sideline.
10:41SGA, Hardenstein, Holmgren.
10:43Nice set up there on the pass.
10:45Three to hard way.
10:49Christy got downhill.
10:51The pass.
10:51Too much heat on it.
10:52Out of bounds.
10:53And Dallas turns it over.
10:57This was quick.
10:58This ball move here, folks.
11:00You know, you got to move the defense.
11:02And the defense cannot move as fast as that pass.
11:05And the Thunder do a great job.
11:06He thought Hardenstein's going to take that shot.
11:08He said, look, I see a guy wide open at my peripheral vision.
11:10That guy was checked.
11:11And checked delivered on that three ball in that corner pocket.
11:16Excellent vision.
11:17Excellent ball movement.
11:18Setting someone up.
11:20Holmgren looking for two in a row.
11:23Not going to get it.
11:26I was glad to see him out there still.
11:28He took a hard shot from a Middleton backcourt foul.
11:32He got clipped with his shin.
11:35Johnson to the strip.
11:36Wallace right there in the mix for the turnover.
11:39The lob up top to Wiggins.
11:42Too much on it.
11:43But fortunately it pops out.
11:44Holmgren inside with the two-handed stuff.
11:48You know, sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.
11:50That's how my golf game goes a lot of time.
11:53The Thunder got a little bit of luck on that play.
11:56I can second that.
12:05Christie out of the corner.
12:07One off the three-point line up top.
12:09Jackson doesn't look comfortable with the shot.
12:11And he missed it.
12:12That's good rotation by the Thunder.
12:13Just a lot of pressure on the shooters and the dribbler to get out there to him.
12:21I'm not sure what happened.
12:22If that was a pass or what from SGA.
12:26Either way, one of the few turnovers of the night.
12:28Throw case, he just sits.
12:31Great job of holding on to the basketball.
12:33Christie.
12:34And just two.
12:36Dangerous.
12:37That's his third three.
12:38He's been more than just a throw-in, Michael, in the AD Dodgers trade.
12:42Of course, he was part of the Lakers, a second-round pick out of Michigan State.
12:51Long three by Wiggins.
12:53No good.
12:59Still a double-digit lead here in the third.
13:02On a dribbler by Nembhard.
13:05Losing up a lot of time on that clock.
13:06He's still got the basketball.
13:08And it's under eight seconds now.
13:10And look what happens when they dribble it too much like that.
13:13Sooner or later, you've got all your teammates standing.
13:15And Wiggins cut across the lane, but Holmgren cleans it up after the drive.
13:21And Holmgren's out of a solid night up to 17.
13:25This is a long stretch here.
13:26Both teams are waiting for a timeout.
13:36As Nembhard bounces off of SGA.
13:40Degnault will give you that timeout that you were looking for.
13:43Michael gets the mandatory here.
13:44With 3.33 left to go in this third quarter.
13:49It's time now to take a look at tonight's homeland dish of the game.
13:52And this was in the first half.
13:54Just one of the Thunders.
13:5617 assists in this matchup here tonight.
13:58The Fort Smith Connection.
14:00J-Will with a beautiful backdoor pass to a cutting Isaiah Joe for the two-handed slam.
14:06And guys, this is the type of play that really showcases the versatility of the Thunders' depth.
14:11This is Isaiah Joe, an elite sharpshooter on a backdoor pass.
14:14From the Thunders' big man and Jalen Williams.
14:17Both of these guys exceptionally well-rounded players.
14:20And it goes to show why Coach Degnault talks about the quality of the Thunders' depth.
14:24Multiple guys who can do multiple things out there on the court.
14:27And a part of that is just the activity of the big men of OKC, Michael.
14:32And I don't know if there's a team in the NBA that runs inverted offense better than the Thunder, particularly
14:38through their big men.
14:39Even though Mark Degnault says it's not necessarily our fastball, but they've certainly had to use it here over the
14:46last couple of weeks.
14:47And they've used it effectively.
14:48Yeah, you're right, partner.
14:49That's a good point you bring up.
14:50And it allows the Thunder to not give a steady look of their offense to their opponents.
14:55That's what you always want to do.
14:56Never give them a steady diet of anything offensively.
15:03Good ball moving here by the Thunder.
15:06Joe will take the good look from three, and he'll get the bounce.
15:11That is not a Michael Cage bounce, I can tell you that.
15:14I'm a hammer.
15:15Yeah, I'm just a hammer.
15:17I'm going to tell you that now.
15:20That was soft.
15:22That sure was.
15:22That was a silky touch.
15:25Pound.
15:26And that time, Dallas able to execute, going over the top.
15:29And the defense.
15:31And Dwight Powell quiet on the offensive end.
15:38But SGA will bring it across the timeline with his 19 points.
15:45Dangerous pass cross-court.
15:48Caruso's going to get it back to him.
15:50Heavy pressure by Johnson.
15:53Everybody's looking at him, too.
15:58Caruso went flying in there.
16:00Didn't get it.
16:01And then hard.
16:02There's a two-way player.
16:04Just had his contract converted.
16:06Standard NBA deal.
16:08He's for the rest of the regular season.
16:12Ball is moving over to the perimeter.
16:14He got it back.
16:15Tough spot.
16:16SGA went for the steal.
16:17Middleton on the turnaround.
16:19No good.
16:19Powell rips away the rebound and flicks it up and into the left hand.
16:31Shane, once again, bounces.
16:33And he's going to go to the free throw line for his first trip to the line on the night.
16:39That's amazing.
16:40As much as he drives to the basket where 80% of the calls are made.
16:44And the Thunder have only been to the free throw line seven times tonight.
16:51You're not getting to the free throw line, Michael, and you're not knocking down threes.
16:55They're still up by 12.
17:00And Shea's got 20 points.
17:0859th consecutive time that he scored 20 or more on the road.
17:13That is a new NBA record.
17:17And you don't know who that other guy is.
17:19Tall, seven-footer.
17:20They call him the stilt.
17:21He played for Philadelphia.
17:23Played for the Lakers.
17:26I'm not going to mention his name because I don't know if even Paris Lawson knows that name.
17:31But he was a tall guy, not a small guy like Shea.
17:35He's now in second place.
17:37All right, I'm going to spare the miss.
17:38He wore number 13.
17:39His name was Will Jandlin.
17:41It's remarkable how long that record stood.
17:45And it's incredible now that Shea, with his consistency during these last couple of years,
17:51has been able to surpass it.
17:53Just incredible.
17:54He's so young, too.
17:56He's going to pull down a lot of records like that.
18:01Shea not going to get that three to go down.
18:02Wiggins underneath, battling for the rebound.
18:04And that extra hustle is going to result in a foul by Dallas.
18:08That's right.
18:09He stripped it away from Middleton.
18:12Great effort here by Wigg.
18:14Gets that ball.
18:15And he gets pushed out of back.
18:18By Middleton.
18:22Let's check in with Nick.
18:24Guys, this record for Shea, just another example of the pride that he takes to everything that
18:29he does.
18:30There's a consistent regimen that he has.
18:32Mark Degnell has just talked about how impressive it is to see him in the gym, early mornings,
18:37late nights.
18:38The way that he works on his body with such great intentionality to prepare himself to
18:42go out and play and perform night after night after night.
18:46Of course, we see him in the way that he approaches road games, signing autographs for fans.
18:51He brings his best self to every single game and has done so for 59 straight games here on
18:56the road to get 20-plus points.
18:59Just an incredible feat.
19:00Martin, again, with that line drive three from the corner.
19:06And so he is up to 12 points.
19:08Second Dallas player in the double digits.
19:15They're going to close out this third quarter.
19:17Trying to go to work on Johnson.
19:19Slices inside.
19:20And the left-handed layup just sized up the defense.
19:24I don't understand how the Fitzgerald can't see.
19:25He got popped in the head and no call.
19:29My goodness.
19:34As Martin will go back the other way.
19:38And that time he is going to get fouled on the baseline.
19:42A couple of Dallas players surrounding him.
19:46Take a look at this.
19:48I mean, how do you not see that?
19:49He got hit in the top of the head.
19:51I mean, I was complaining in real time because I saw it.
19:55And when you see the replay, it's even worse.
20:00And that's why the guy's only, what, this is his third or fourth free throw.
20:03I believe you said he just had his first two free throws of the night.
20:11It's incredible how he has been able to show up night after night.
20:16And just backing up what Nick was saying and Mark Danglott's comments about how he
20:22dominates the invisible work.
20:25And just to be able to do it night in and night out in this league.
20:30You know, it's really neat about it, too.
20:32We get to watch this guy.
20:33We've watched him develop in the system.
20:36And become the type of player he was from the moment he was.
20:40He was traded from the Clippers in the Paul George trade.
20:46He has been really on an incredible ascension.
20:53MVP a season ago.
20:56Leading score.
20:58You know, obviously going all the way and winning a title.
21:01With those kind of numbers.
21:03Shea, this time, sets it up.
21:05Wide open three.
21:06Joe can't close out the corner despite the excellent look as Shea set him up.
21:14This game has kind of been around 9 to 15 points since the first quarter.
21:21And the funnel will go to the fourth quarter.
21:23Up by 14.
21:25Shea leading the way with those 25.
21:28Better trying to get another road victory.
21:33Devon Energy, final matchup between these two teams.
21:36Thunder trying to go 3-0 against the Mavs.
21:38They've led since early in the first quarter.
21:41SGA, part of that with his 25 points.
21:43Four more steals on the night for him.
21:45Got four straight games with two or more.
21:47And set an NBA record with 20 or more in 59 straight games.
21:53So he'll start this fourth quarter on the bench.
21:55Dallas being led by Caleb Martin.
21:57And, as you would expect, not the same kind of firepower with this Dallas team, Michael.
22:04And he's leading the way in scoring.
22:06But the Thunder defense so far has done a good job of living.
22:10Jason Kidd's Mads.
22:11And, you know, you've got 12 minutes here.
22:13And, you know, you've got a chance to open up this game a little bit more.
22:17There's a nine-point game at halftime.
22:20Thunder 14 currently.
22:23See if they can get a stop here.
22:25And he's been in the sort of 9-16 range.
22:30Tough shot by Christie in the corner.
22:32He missed it.
22:33Back iron.
22:33Caruso head up trying to push.
22:35Dumps it off to Hartenstein.
22:37The lob inside is Holmgren.
22:39And the connection between those two continues to grow.
22:43Well, we call it a pocket pass, folks, when it's in that painted area between two players.
22:47Boy, that was a high pass.
22:50Good job, also, of keeping it high with Chet.
22:57Seven-footer to seven-footer.
23:00Kind of see that subtle little gesture from Chet to hopefully get Hartenstein's attention.
23:08Hey, throw that ball up high.
23:09Yeah, that's two guys that's been playing in the neighborhood for a while.
23:13It's more of a read for a look that leads to a read.
23:19You can almost see that play develop it a lot of times.
23:26Middleton.
23:27And he's just so grounded.
23:30Martin gives it up.
23:31Gafford.
23:32And it's dislodged and a steal.
23:35Didn't even get a shot off.
23:36They did a good job of not letting Gafford get it in the air.
23:38He's a high riser.
23:40He's pretty strong, too.
23:46Grosso decided what to do.
23:49Under 10 seconds here.
23:51That's Holmgren.
23:52Gafford's way outside.
23:54Someone's going to have to shoot it.
23:55Dangerous pass over to Hartenstein.
23:57Hartenstein.
23:58The heave.
23:59And the offensive rebound by Joe.
24:01And that one is going to spin home.
24:04Everybody froze.
24:07Except Isaiah Joe.
24:08I thought that was going to be Hartenstein's first three as a member of the Thunder.
24:14I thought that was how it was going to happen.
24:16I'm looking at Paris Lawson and she gave me a look like almost Mike, almost Mike.
24:21She calls me Mike.
24:22And I said, yeah, almost.
24:25I was ready to give him the props on the three that he's been looking for.
24:32Speaking of the three, Isaiah Joe coming off the screen.
24:37And boy, do these Thunder guards love those screens from Hartenstein and Holmgren.
24:42Yeah, just a few made threes here.
24:43Top part of this fourth quarter just to kind of open up the scoreboard a little bit.
24:49And that's what you said, Michael.
24:50If the Thunder could knock down a couple of threes there, there had been opportunities to expand the margin.
24:55Yeah, just to open it up a little bit.
25:02Hartenstein getting blanketed there.
25:05A little too much contact from Middleton.
25:07Take a look at this.
25:09High-level play.
25:11You may try that at home, but you'll have mixed results.
25:13A.J. Johnson.
25:14Man, that is just beautiful.
25:15Not only did he pass the ball, but he set a nice little legal screen to free up Isaiah Joe
25:22for...
25:24Can I say a hot cup of Joe on a hot day here at Dallas?
25:27Absolutely.
25:28Okay, hot cup of Joe.
25:29No reason to stop now.
25:30They go through the legs again.
25:32That's how much they like running that play.
25:34And Joe again.
25:36Bottoms one from deep.
25:37All of a sudden, starting to get even a little hotter here in Dallas, Mike.
25:43My goodness.
25:45You talking about ground all day?
25:47Exact same play, folks.
25:49Exact same results.
25:51Take a look at this.
25:52Isaiah Joe, man, he is even up right now.
25:54That guy is cooking the gas.
25:57Sports Network is brought to you by MidFirst Bank.
26:00Thunder up with the official bank of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
26:04By Devin Energy, commitment runs deep.
26:07And by Oklahoma Ford dealers, Ford is the best in Oklahoma.
26:13We see a lot of Thunder fans in the arena here.
26:16American Airlines Center down in Dallas by the three-point hour drive.
26:19But all of a sudden, Michael, a three-point shooting has come alive here in this fourth quarter led by
26:25Isaiah Joe.
26:26That's why the Thunder have their biggest lead of the game.
26:29And we talked about just opening up the scoreboard a little bit, just knocking down a couple of shots.
26:33They got some good looks.
26:35Kept taking those shots.
26:36The only way you'll make them is to take it.
26:40Gafford going to get hammered on the backside.
26:43And Caruso, he's going over to Mark Dagnall saying no.
26:45He thought it was clean.
26:48And if they want to challenge, it looks like Mark Dagnall will challenge using the advice and the recommendation of
26:55Caruso.
26:55He's won five in a row.
26:58It looked like there was a lot of contact on the backside, but back-to-back timeouts.
27:03Look at the ruling after this.
27:05See Thunder make it six in a row, Michael, for Mark Dagnall.
27:09This is another successful challenge as the forearm of Caruso making contact with the ball first.
27:16Well, there it is right there, folks.
27:18And once that ball got dislodged, all bets are off.
27:25And the Thunder pick up the loose ball, so they will get retained possession.
27:29And once again, Mark Dagnall is on a streak now with winning those challenges.
27:35Going to Caruso, you know, he wasn't all that operatic there after the call was made,
27:40but he just went over to Mark Dagnall and said,
27:42Look, I'm pretty sure I got all ball.
27:44Mark Dagnall listened to him.
27:46And a wise decision there to challenge.
27:48Thunder out of challenges for the remainder of the game.
27:52But in a comfortable spot here, up by 22, biggest lead of the game.
27:57And McCain has been living in that mid-range over the course of this one.
28:03Missed out one from 12 feet.
28:05Ball swings over the pound.
28:12Martin, a little indecision there.
28:14And so instead, it's Johnson.
28:16And the Mavs haven't really shot at all that effectively either from three-point land.
28:21Yeah, they've done a good job of just kind of bottling up Gatford,
28:24who's a tremendous offensive rebounder.
28:28Thunder just keep going to that action between Hardenstein and Isaiah Joe.
28:32And as Holmgren unloaded a three there, no good.
28:35You know, a lot of times teams listen to that many shots.
28:38They're going to get a lot of offensive rebounds.
28:40But that hasn't been the case.
28:42Thunder with a 14-2 second chance advantage over the Mavericks.
28:48And the mid-range shot right at the left elbow is good.
28:55That's a good thing to note, though, Mike, of a second chance opportunities
28:58because that was one of the things that helped the Thunder keep the lead
29:02when shots weren't falling, particularly in the first half.
29:15That's been the difference, too, with opening up the scoreboard a little bit.
29:19Was it the Thunder made?
29:20You know, consecutive threes.
29:22Of course, the Mavericks to call timeout.
29:24All right, Coister.
29:26Voluntarily, that lead up to the largest of the night at 22.
29:30Right now, it sits at 20.
29:32And the defense has done a good job over the course of the game.
29:35Williams up to 14 points now for the Mavs.
29:40But there have not been stretches where Dallas has been able to really
29:46pull together a lot of successful plays.
29:50Just 75 points so far.
29:52When they're making the Mavs work for it.
29:55It's almost another backdoor play,
29:58except Isaiah Joe got held up intentionally
30:01to stop that from happening.
30:05Chet's back in the ballgame.
30:07Chet will lead the ballgame as Shea will step back in.
30:11Pardon me on that.
30:15Turner's the longest active road 20-plus
30:21scoring in the association.
30:24McCain to drill it over to the spot that he wanted for that three.
30:29Shea passed Will Chamberlain in this second half.
30:32One of the greatest,
30:34considered one of the greatest of all time.
30:37There's a spin ball by Martin.
30:40And Martin getting the start here tonight.
30:43Beneficent six out of 11.
30:49So Shea comes back out and immediately sees that double team.
30:52So McCain will drive, pulls up right at the elbow.
30:55And that is what we're seeing from Jared McCain, Michael.
30:59And he's not afraid to shoot it.
31:00There's that confidence that he has showed here over the first 10 games.
31:04He is just surgical with a lot of his moves.
31:07And he just goes right to it,
31:09to that spot with a stop and pop.
31:12Pull up, pull up three.
31:15He's in the double digits again.
31:18The cut.
31:19Arnstein set it up.
31:20Look at the ball moving around.
31:21McCain off the catch.
31:23And it was pretty basketball.
31:25It just did not go down.
31:27He was wide open too.
31:29Because that ball,
31:30you were playing hot potato with it.
31:35Caruso could have taken that three.
31:36It would have been a good shot.
31:40Martin is going to get fouled.
31:43But I will gladly take credit on that one.
31:46It is McCain.
31:47Come in the personal.
31:49And Mark Dagnall will mention that sometimes.
31:51Hey, we will create and generate good looks and the shots won't go down.
31:56It's a big difference between taking a bad shot and it going in.
32:01Obviously, you'd rather go in.
32:02But, I mean, that's one of those that's going to go down.
32:05That's going to go down is a really good shot.
32:13Join us at Paycom Center for the next Thunder home game Saturday at 7.30.
32:17First, the Golden State Warriors.
32:19Play your seats now at OKCTender.com slash buy tickets.
32:27So, Thunder would jump on a plane tonight, head to the Windy City.
32:32Let's do it.
32:33Yeah.
32:34Match up on Tuesday night against the Bulls.
32:38Part of this three-game road trip.
32:42This one might be one of the more difficult road trips of the season.
32:45When you go to Chicago, New York.
32:48With another three games and four nights, you lose an hour to travel.
32:53But, nonetheless, always a privilege to go to Madison Square Garden at the Mecca.
33:02Past the midway point here, the fourth.
33:05Hart's not getting it up.
33:07SGA trying to make his move.
33:08Look at all the black jerseys.
33:10And SGA lost his footing.
33:12The Mavs coming back the other way.
33:14Johnson stripped initially.
33:18Joel Witt for the steal.
33:19Didn't get it.
33:20Extra pass.
33:21Johnson, corner three.
33:22Hasn't been able to make anything all night.
33:25He's just one for seven from the deck.
33:27Yeah, I was surprised if Caleb Martin gave up that.
33:30He was wide open, too.
33:31He knocked down a couple of threes.
33:35Hart's not going to be behind his back.
33:36The pass.
33:37Joe, the corner three.
33:38No.
33:39McCain trying to tap it out to a teammate.
33:41But, it is out of bounds on the sideline.
33:44It looked like Dallas had it.
33:45But, Cissé fumbled.
33:48One thing I'm noticing, Michael,
33:50the chemistry and the passing
33:53throughout this second half,
33:55specifically between Hartenstein and Joe.
33:57Well, you know, that's a good sign, too,
33:58because moving forward,
34:00you know, you get Shea back on Friday night.
34:03You can, you know,
34:04you can struggle with shooting the basketball.
34:06But, you don't want to struggle with your passing.
34:09That's the one thing that can help relieve,
34:10a lot of times,
34:12your offense.
34:16Just a little tardy on the shot there for J. Will.
34:19Didn't get it off in time.
34:2124-second violation,
34:22but you like the way the ball is moving right now.
34:26Finally, McCain gets the play with SGA.
34:30He's only his second game playing with him.
34:33SGA's missed nine games
34:36prior to Friday night,
34:38so he's being reinserted back in.
34:40Jerry McCain was asked about that.
34:42He said,
34:42hey, look,
34:43the gravity that these guys get
34:45is only going to make my life easier.
34:47And he had a big smile on his face
34:50when he was answering that question.
34:52And I don't want to play with the MVP, too.
34:55That's right.
34:55Absolutely.
34:57Especially considering, you know,
34:58there's a whole lot of meat still left on the bone
35:00of this Thunder team.
35:03Score defense inside.
35:05Yeah, well, I say that, folks,
35:07when I say meat up on that bone.
35:08You know, they're so young.
35:12Wallace went right to the cup.
35:15Johnson back the other way,
35:16and he gets one to go down to Mark Dagnall.
35:18He's going to call the timeout.
35:19I don't think he's been happy
35:21with the last couple of possessions.
35:23But with 4.18 left to go,
35:2614-point game.
35:31And so we mentioned in the schedule
35:33where the Thunder,
35:35here in the month of March,
35:36right at the top.
35:38Arch-first, first game.
35:39And to Chicago and New York.
35:42There's still another pretty big road trip remaining, Michael.
35:45In fact, it's the biggest road trip of the season.
35:47A lot of East Coast games there.
35:49Orlando, Brooklyn, Washington, Philly, Boston.
35:52You said coming out of the All-Star break,
35:54the Thunder second toughest schedule,
35:57strength of schedule-wise.
35:58Well, and you look at it, too.
36:01You know, this is the last full month of the season.
36:04You know, there's only 20 games remaining
36:07when you talk about the month of March.
36:09Everything is pretty much loaded up
36:11in this month, folks.
36:12So if you want to see this team play,
36:15purchase your tickets now
36:16for next Saturday's game against Golden State.
36:20Let's take a look tonight.
36:21So you need power play of the game.
36:23This game in the first half.
36:27SGA, he doesn't dunk the basketball very often,
36:29but when he does, he makes the most of it.
36:32Oh, that's an emphatic, too.
36:34Just beautiful blow-by.
36:37And strong finish by SGA.
36:42He's got 25 points on the night.
36:46Now, school rebounds, five assists,
36:48and check out that number to the floor
36:50far right there, folks.
36:51Four steals.
36:53Everybody, boy!
36:54Now everybody, say!
36:57We say so many times,
36:59his defense does not get enough credit.
37:04He had three blocks
37:05on Friday night
37:07against Denver.
37:10Like I said,
37:11he's going right to his bread and butter.
37:14Coming out of the timeout,
37:15Mark Dagnall probably saying,
37:17let's just get back into what we do.
37:20Just remember, he's been out
37:21for three weeks,
37:22just still trying to get his sea legs back.
37:26Making those kind of moves.
37:31Deer Steele,
37:32late shot clock situation.
37:34Johnson's been in a lot of these
37:35here in the second half,
37:36trying to use his leg.
37:37That time a little maneuver
37:39going against the grain.
37:40Going left, finishing right.
37:45So A.J. Johnson with six points.
37:49About three and a half minutes of this game.
37:50That's going to be a foul on Dallas.
37:52Third team foul.
37:57Second personal foul.
38:01As Mark Dagnall's got J. Will,
38:04Caruso, McCain,
38:05Kaysen Wallace,
38:06and SGA out of the floor.
38:12Bunner going to go
38:15into the win column here.
38:18Not a solid possession there
38:19with the turnover.
38:27That's going to go against Caruso, I believe.
38:28They played hard.
38:29Him hard.
38:29They'll go to the three.
38:31And we're going to lose ball foul on the knee.
38:35And that's going to go against Caruso, I believe.
38:37And that's going to go against Caruso, I believe.
38:40Alex Luzerner.
38:41He's second person.
38:44The third team foul, but.
38:48Dry pal is going to get some free throws.
