ಹರ್ಮುಜ್ ಜಲಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ವಿಗ್ನತೆ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ. ಓಮನ್ ಕರಾವಳಿಯ ಸಮೀಪ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ತೈಲ ಟ್ಯಾಂಕರ್ ಹಡಗಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಾನ್ ಮಿಸೈಲ್ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿದುದಾಗಿ ವರದಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಡಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 20 ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಇದ್ದು, ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ 15 ಮಂದಿ ಭಾರತೀಯರು ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ದಾಳಿಯಿಂದ ಕೆಲವು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗೆ ಗಾಯಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸಮುದ್ರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲೇ ಹಡಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮೂಲಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿವೆ. ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರಾಚ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸೈನಿಕ ಉದ್ವಿಗ್ನತೆಯ ನಡುವೆ ಈ ಘಟನೆ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತಂಕ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದೆ.
