00:00Earlier today, CENTCOM shared the news that three U.S. military service members have been
00:07killed in action.
00:09As one nation, we grieve for the true American patriots who have made the ultimate sacrifice
00:16for our nation, even as we continue the righteous mission for which they gave their lives.
00:22We pray for the full recovery of the wounded and send our immense love and eternal gratitude
00:30to the families of the fallen.
00:33And sadly, there will likely be more.
00:36Before it ends, that's the way it is.
00:39Likely be more.
00:40But we'll do everything possible where that won't be the case.
00:45But America will avenge their deaths and deliver the most punishing blow to the terrorists who
00:51have waged war against basically civilization.
00:56They have waged war against civilization itself.
01:01Our resolve and likewise that of Israel has never been stronger.
01:06America is now again the richest, most powerful nation in the world by far.
01:12But the only reason we enjoy the quality of life that we do and the freedom and security
01:17is we have done things that others are unable to do.
01:23But it's because of warriors who are willing to lay down their lives to do battle with our
01:31enemies.
01:31And they do battle better than anybody.
01:35An Iranian regime armed with long-range missiles and nuclear weapons would be a dire threat to
01:42every American.
01:43And we cannot allow a nation that raises terrorist armies to possess such weapons, would allow them
01:51to extort the world to their evil will, not going to let it happen.
01:56We're not happening to us and we're not going to let it happen to others.
02:00The United States has the strongest military the world has ever seen.
02:06I rebuilt our military in my first term.
02:09There's never been a military like we possess.
02:14And frankly, there's nobody even close.
02:17But we are now using that military for good.
02:20We want to have it for good purpose.
02:23We're undertaking this massive operation not merely to ensure security for our own time
02:30and place, but for our children and their children, just as our ancestors have done for us many,
02:37many years ago.
02:39This is the duty and the burden of a free people.
02:43These actions are right and they are necessary to ensure that Americans will never have to face
02:49a radical, bloodthirsty terrorist regime armed with nuclear weapons and lots of threats.
02:58For almost 50 years, these wicked extremists have been attacking the United States while
03:04chanting the slogan, death to America or death to Israel or both.
03:10They are the world's number one state sponsor of terror.
03:13We are the world's greatest and most powerful nation, so we can do something about what
03:19they do.
03:20These intolerable threats will not continue any longer.
03:25I once again urge the Revolutionary Guard, the Iranian military, police to lay down your
03:33arms and receive full immunity or face certain death.
03:36It will be certain death, won't be pretty.
03:39I call upon all Iranian patriots who yearn for freedom to seize this moment, to be brave,
03:47be bold, be heroic and take back your country.
03:51America is with you.
03:53I made a promise to you and I fulfilled that promise.
03:57The rest will be up to you, but we'll be there to help.
