00:09The Trinity first,
00:11Wigan at 285.5, King Corbin.
00:18The King has come to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia tonight for Super Showdown.
00:23Corbin told me that his Sith, the throne on his sedan was gifted to him by
00:28members of the royal family because only they understand what it's like to be a king.
00:34King Corbin, of course, the king of the ring winner, playing in 2019.
00:40Byron, one of the beauties of you being on Monday Night Raw is you do not have to
00:42be subjected to King Corbin each and every week.
00:45I think by lucky stars every single week that I don't have to listen to King Corbin.
00:50It's probably better you're on Monday Night Raw because I think if Corbin had to
00:53deal with you, Zack, you might find yourself exiled from SmackDown.
00:59This is the culmination of what has been a fierce rivalry that actually really kicked
01:03into high gear at Crown Jewel last October right here in Riyadh when Roman Reigns and
01:10King Corbin represented Team Hogan and Team Flair in that big tag team matchup.
01:16I think a large part of this rivalry, a large part of the foundation of this rivalry is built
01:22and it comes upon the professional jealousy and envy that King Corbin has of Roman Reigns.
01:28King Corbin did say he's not scared of anyone.
01:31But he is going to make Roman Reigns bow down to the king here tonight.
01:35Can you elaborate on that ridiculous statement, Byron Saxton?
01:39In what world is King Corbin jealous of anything about Roman Reigns?
01:43I've heard King Corbin.
01:45He's done multiple interviews claiming that he wants to be a locker room leader like Roman Reigns.
01:49He wants to be on all the billboards.
01:51He wants to be on the sides of stadiums just like the big dog.
01:55No, King Corbin wants to be a locker room leader in spite of Roman Reigns.
01:59Once upon a time, the big dog ruled over the locker room.
02:03Dressed in male here tonight for this battle inside a steel cage.
02:09Well, it makes that look good.
02:11You see the same thing I'm seeing?
02:15Looking to protect his body in the hostile environment of the steel cage.
02:20Come here.
02:26Come here.
02:28Come here.
02:31Come here.
02:35Come here.
02:36Come here.
02:39Come here.
02:40Come here.
02:41Come here.
02:42Come here.
02:42Come here.
02:42Come here.
02:42Come here.
02:42Come here.
02:43Come here.
02:46Come here.
02:52And here comes the Big Dog.
02:56And his opponent from Pensacola,
02:59Florida, weighing in at 265 pounds, Roman Reigns.
03:06Up until a moment ago, the Big Dog had a big chain in his right hand.
03:10I can only imagine what Roman's intentions are.
03:32I appreciate all the pomp, all the circumstances, the fireworks displayed.
03:36It's going to be a really fitting send-off for
03:38Roman Reigns to leave Saudi Arabia with his tail between his legs.
03:42Roman Reigns is celebrating one year cancer free.
03:46He talks about how life has struggles and setbacks.
03:49But he said the powers and prayers of the WW Universe gave him strength to fight back.
03:55And here tonight, he's at Super Showdown, ready to go one-on-one with King Corbin.
04:00He says, tonight, this rivalry comes to an end.
04:03It is the final time.
04:05I have one thing left to do, and it's finish this for good.
04:10Remember, this is what Roman Reigns wanted.
04:12King Corbin wanted one more match, but it was Roman Reigns who upped the ante,
04:16who took it to another level.
04:19He said, yeah, let's do it one more time, but let's do it inside a steel cage.
04:34Once Roman Reigns steps inside, the door will be locked.
04:38You will win via pinfall submission or escape.
04:42That's either over the top or out the door.
04:44And both feet must hit the floor.
04:48I have a feeling either one of these men are too excited to escape.
04:51I think we're gonna see these two foals locked in a cage and truly throw down.
04:56A lot of bad blood between Baron Corbin and Roman Reigns.
05:00Hopefully it finally comes to an end here tonight.
05:05I don't think there's any doubt it will, Byron.
05:07Imagine what these two superstars are going to do to each other inside this
05:12steel cage environment.
05:16So for a moment there, Baron Corbin was hesitant to allow Roman Reigns inside
05:21the steel cage.
05:24Roman Reigns is chaining the door shut.
05:27You guys realize what that means?
05:29That means nobody's escaping through the door.
05:31That tells you all you need to know.
05:34Roman wants to beat the living daylights out of Baron, and Corbin from behind.
05:39Fundamental error, and Corbin, King Corbin, attacking Roman Reigns.
05:46Almost a look of disbelief on his face when he saw Reigns.
05:49Roman was attempting to put the key in his pocket, allowing Corbin to capitalize.
05:56King Corbin quickly getting the upper hand in the early part of this matchup.
06:03This rivalry has become so personal.
06:06The distaste that these two men have for one another.
06:11Corbin into the corner, using his big six-foot-eight frame to his advantage.
06:15Now the big right hands to Reigns.
06:20And one of these men, whether it's King Corbin or Roman Reigns,
06:23will forever have the satisfaction.
06:25And you saw Corbin, he was trying to go after the key, the key to the padlock that Roman Reigns
06:30was sticking in his pocket there.
06:32Whoever have the satisfaction of besting one of their most despised foes.
06:39And Corbin gonna try to use the steel cage to his advantage as Reigns goes face first off the steel.
06:50Look at this, Corbin now grinding Roman's face into that steel mesh.
06:57Look Corbin promised what happened.
07:04Man, there's a terrible mean streak, and again, Reigns in a cage on the other side as he collapses in
07:10the middle of the ring.
07:10And you see Roman, he grabs his white quad, and Baron Corbin may be looking to escape here.
07:16This is a smart strategy.
07:18The King doesn't get paid by the hour, he just needs to pick up a win.
07:21He's gotta go over the top, both feet have to hit the floor.
07:23Corbin gingerly making his way up to the top of the cage, a little unsure of himself as he heads
07:29to the top.
07:29Roman Reigns back to his feet now, gonna climb up the ropes and try to intercept King Corbin here.
07:35I don't know how fond of heights the King is.
07:42Roman Reigns with a couple of shots to the kidneys.
07:45Roman now looking to escape perhaps up over the top.
07:48Taking the higher ground, Corbin gonna need to figure something out, and he will,
07:51if King Corbin wants to win this matchup.
07:54Headbutt by Corbin as he thwarts Reigns opportunity to escape.
07:59Big elbow right on the ear of King Corbin.
08:03Another one by Reigns as Corbin drops down to the top turnbuckle.
08:07Corbin needs to get a little sturdier footing in this scenario.
08:11Way to raise, I guess, having second thoughts wanting to-
08:15Well, maybe not.
08:16Roman Reigns now up over the top again, and now it's King Corbin who's in pursuit.
08:20King Corbin who's trying to chase Roman Reigns down.
08:23Wait a minute, wait a minute.
08:24No, no, no.
08:25There is no way.
08:26Roman does not want to be up there, he does not want to be up there.
08:29Is Corbin looking for some sort of power bomb for the top rope?
08:33If Corbin lands this, it is lights out, good night, big dog.
08:37But Reigns, reigning right hands down on King Corbin.
08:41Successfully thwarting the plans of King Corbin.
08:44Thank goodness for Roman, a power bomb from up there would end this match.
08:52Now it's Roman on the top rope, Corbin back to his feet.
08:59Roman Reigns launches himself, down he goes.
09:03Hook of the leg, shoulders down and a kick out.
09:05One thing I do want to watch in this match, Corbin, I mentioned it earlier.
09:08Roman Reigns looked like he injured his quad when he came off the rope the first time,
09:11and he looked like he landed awkwardly there when he came off the top rope.
09:15That could come into play later on in this match.
09:17If there's any perceived weakness, you can bet that King Corbin will exploit it.
09:21Any sort of weakness shown by the big dog needs to be capitalized on by any opponent.
09:26But right now, Reigns is battering King Corbin.
09:30Back in the center, and a big boot by Roman.
09:33Drives Corbin back into the corner, and now follows it up again.
09:36And he's continuing to unleash.
09:39Seven, eight, nine, ten.
09:45And Roman has Corbin where he wants him.
09:57Roman is locked and loaded.
10:01Corbin better be ready.
10:03Went for the Superman punch, Corbin caught him.
10:05Corbin was ready.
10:06Went for the chokeslam of his own.
10:10Deep six from Corbin.
10:12Into the cover, hooks the leg of Reigns to win the steel cage match.
10:15And Reigns has to kick out at two.
10:18There are a lot of ways you can win this cage match.
10:21But think of how satisfying it would be for King Corbin to pin the big dog's shoulders to the mat.
10:26One, two, three in the center of the cage.
10:29The match that Roman Reigns requested.
10:33You can say the same thing for Roman Reigns with everything he's been through with King Corbin.
10:38Now King Corbin's tried to absolutely disrupt his life.
10:41Yeah, the humiliation, the embarrassment.
10:43Corbin's looking for the key.
10:44And Roman Reigns gonna make sure Corbin doesn't get it.
10:48Again, that is the key to the padlock.
10:51For the chain that is wrapped around the door.
10:53That was Roman Reigns' personal chain and personal lock.
10:56It's not something a WWE official can open up.
11:00Only the key in Roman's pocket.
11:03Roman fighting back, back to his feet.
11:07Went for the boot again, and Corbin caught Roman again.
11:10Planting him, center of the ring.
11:11Cover, kick out again by the big dog at two.
11:19Look of frustration on the face of King Corbin.
11:22What King Corbin should expect this, Cori?
11:24He knows what Roman Reigns is all about.
11:26He knows the fortitude of this man.
11:34And again, once again trying to fish the key out of Roman Reigns' pocket.
11:38And there it is.
11:38He got it this time.
11:39Corbin got it this time.
11:44Corbin's got the all clear.
11:46Just needs to put the key in the lock, and it is bye bye big dog.
11:50Open the door and step out on the floor and win the steel cage match.
11:56There it is.
11:57There it is, the lock is open.
11:59The chain being released.
12:01Oh, Roman is still open.
12:02Roman back to his feet.
12:04Roman has Corbin pinned in the turnbuckle.
12:08And Corbin planting the elbows to the back of the neck of Roman Reigns.
12:16Corbin needs to compose himself, and there goes the chain.
12:21We are about to have a royal celebration in Riyadh.
12:25Maybe not.
12:26And Roman Reigns again, not allowing Corbin to make it out the door.
12:32Roman hanging on desperately, what a body shot by King Corbin.
12:39And Corbin just hammering away on Reigns.
12:42Open it.
12:43Open the door.
12:46The instructions being delivered by King Corbin.
12:50The door is open.
12:52Corbin, after a couple of more right hands to Reigns, maybe will waltz out of the ring.
12:56Get him down.
12:58Malicious right hands from King Corbin.
13:05And now King Corbin trying to walk toward the door.
13:08Roman Reigns, though, able to grab his ankle.
13:11Roman right now just hanging on for dear life.
13:13Corbin trying to crawl his way out the door.
13:15Now grabs the ropes if he can somehow separate himself from Roman Reigns.
13:19He may be able to win this match via escape.
13:22That could be the opening that Corbin needs.
13:29That door bounced off the face of Corbin.
13:32Wise strategy from the big dog.
13:39And now it's Reigns ready to strike.
13:41Right for the Superman Punch, caught, chokeslam by Corbin.
13:45Cover to win the steel cage match, and Reigns at two.
13:54Every time Roman Reigns goes for the Superman Punch, he's been intercepted by Corbin.
13:59Corbin's faced off with Reigns on enough occasions.
14:02If the King does his homework, the King picks up the thing here or there.
14:07And now he's picking up the big dog's own chain.
14:16No disqualifications inside a steel cage, so
14:19Corbin can do whatever he wants with that steel, that chain there.
14:22It is all perfectly legal.
14:24Roman Reigns is gonna regret bringing the chain into the cage.
14:29King Corbin, a former Golden Gloves boxing champion.
14:33Lethal striking ability.
14:37Corbin letting the world know what his intentions are.
14:41This could be the knockout blow.
14:47Roman just struggling to make it back to his feet.
14:50And now mocking Reigns.
14:55Went for his own Superman, punch it right into one of Reigns.
14:58Cover, middle of the ring, Corbin kicks it too.
15:03Mocking Roman Reigns almost cost King Corbin this matchup.
15:07Mocking Roman Reigns.
15:12Corbin went for his own Superman punch with his fist wrapped in a chain.
15:16And Roman Reigns delivered a Superman of his own.
15:19Now Roman Reigns has to tap into that something extra.
15:23Take one more look at this.
15:25King Corbin feeling a little overconfident.
15:28Looking to turn the big dog's lights out.
15:30But instead, eats the fist of the big dog.
15:36This one still goes on.
15:41A matchup like this in a steel cage match.
15:44Not only the magnitude of the situation here at Super Showdown.
15:47The eyes of the WWE Universe all on you, but in a steel cage match.
15:51Having your flesh graded against the steel cage.
15:55The impact of the steel beams against your body takes a lot out of you.
15:59And now it's Corbin looking perhaps to escape again, Corey.
16:02Up on the top rope, trying to crawl to the top of the cage.
16:05Roman trying to fight through the agony.
16:07The punishment inflicted by Reigns.
16:08What an elbow.
16:09Caught Roman right in the eyebrow with the point of his elbow.
16:12And now Corbin up toward the top.
16:14King Corbin trying to hoist himself up and it's a long way up there.
16:18And pull himself over the top and land on the floor and win this steel cage match.
16:23And now it's Roman Reigns in pursuit.
16:26Corbin way up there on the top of the cage.
16:29Roman Reigns gonna meet him there as well.
16:31Now both men on the top of the steel cage.
16:33Nothing good happens here.
16:35Teetering high above the floor.
16:37Right above us here at ringside.
16:38This is a highly hazardous situation for King Corbin and Roman Reigns.
16:43Look at how high they are off the ground.
16:47Reigns and Corbin, this bitter rivalry has come to this.
16:51On the top of a steel cage at Super Showdown.
16:54Those of these men trying their best to remain sturdy to steady themselves atop the cage
16:58while still delivering right hands to one another.
17:03Blow for a blow and a true battle of attrition.
17:08And now it's Roman getting the upper hand.
17:12And King Corbin.
17:14Oh no, Corbin's weight shifted.
17:16He's going on the inside of the cage.
17:17And Roman Reigns on the outside and Roman Reigns making his way down.
17:21Roman Reigns hanging above the floor.
17:23Corbin has Roman's vest.
17:25King Corbin dragging Reigns back into the cage.
17:28King Corbin was able to procure a grip on Roman Reigns' vest to stop the big dog
17:33from completing the climb.
17:35And now back inside the ring on the top rope.
17:41This battle continues.
17:43Reigns and Corbin are spent.
17:47It's exhausting in there, Byron.
17:53Reigns face first off the cage.
17:55And now Corbin, is he gonna try to escape again?
17:58Corbin has a decision to make.
18:00Does he go up or down?
18:01Uh-oh, no.
18:02He went down, courtesy of Reigns.
18:13Corbin stuck on the rope in a Superman punch.
18:19No, it's not done yet.
18:21King Corbin pinned in between the ropes.
18:22Corbin strapped.
18:23Another Superman punch.
18:29Reigns able to strike at will.
18:31And uh-oh.
18:32No.
18:35Reigns is gonna strike all right.
18:37Corbin tried to use it earlier.
18:42Time for a little retribution.
18:46Corbin better look.
18:48I don't think he knows what's coming.
18:50Close your eyes, King.
18:51Superman punch with the chain.
18:54Cover by Reigns on Corbin.
18:57Reigns wins.
19:01Here is your winner, Roman Reigns.
19:07A defining victory tonight.
19:10Roman Reigns gathers retribution as he knocks off King Corbin inside a steel cage.
19:18Finally, the big dog can close the book on this robbery with King Corbin.
19:31And now it's celebration time for Roman Reigns.
19:38What an unbelievable rivalry between these two superstars.
19:43Certainly both competitors brought the best and worst out of each other.
19:48So many memorable moments, incredible matchups.
19:51But the big dog is the last man standing.
19:55Courtesy of a Superman punch with a chain wrapped fist.
20:06The tool that Roman Reigns brought to this fight will be the tool that would secure him a victory.
20:13And it will allow Roman Reigns to triumphantly walk out of the steel cage the winner.
20:33The big dog takes out the king.
20:36The big dog takes out the king.
20:44The incredible dog takes out theami.
20:45Here it's a mom and pastelzen guy.
20:54We have any warnings here.
20:56We have lots ofwhoop reviews.
21:06But that will last week, junior supposed to be the red Không ajustable pack.
21:30It was only appropriate that this rivalry ended inside the steel cage.
21:37Roman Reigns victorious here tonight.
21:54Jake Corbin has finished off.
22:06We'll see you next time.
22:07Bye.
22:09Bye.
22:12Bye.
22:12Bye.
22:13Bye.
22:14Bye.
