Dozens killed in Israeli strike on Iran school, state media reports

Emergency services dug around the site of a destroyed school in the southern Iranian town of Minab on March , 2026 after it was hit by a missile killing 85 people, according to state media as the United States and Israel launched the most ambitious attack on Iranian targets in decades. Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations said that hundreds of civilians have been killed. Reuters could not independently confirm the reports. Israel's military did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
