Female first responders honored on kickoff of Fire Prevention Month

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), in coordination with various emergency service agencies, launches Fire Prevention Month on March 1, 2026, with a tribute to female first responders. The ceremony was highlighted by the lighting of the MOA Globe in purple, a gesture honoring the women serving in fire and emergency services as the nation also begins the celebration of Women’s Month. The BFP led a motorcade featuring dozens of fire trucks, tankers, ambulances, and support vehicles. The convoy traveled through EDSA toward the Quezon Memorial Circle, serving as a high-visibility reminder for citizens to prioritize fire safety and vigilance throughout the month.
