00:26I think my Getting Ready playlist is probably anything that has some Tina Marie on there.
00:32I do love a good 80s, 90s throwback session.
00:37The music from that time, I feel like all of us here were kind of chatting about it.
00:43It's just so rich.
00:44There's always such a good story being told in those songs.
00:57My favorite part of Getting Ready for an event like this is definitely the creative process
01:05that happens before this moment.
01:07So like working with hair, makeup, styling to sort of put the puzzle pieces together
01:13and really build the look.
01:15Kind of go on that journey of finding pieces, having pieces find you.
01:21It is this beautiful, like sheer, tulle, pink, nude, black dress from Prabhu Garun.
01:32This Asian American designer that I'm super excited to step out in.
01:38I've never seen anything like it.
01:40And I think that the hair, makeup, accessories that we've got going to sort of complement it.
01:48Like they've really come together to make a look.
01:52A look that I'm ready to serve.
01:54A lot of this look just came together out of trust.
01:58Trust and faith and hope.
02:00And extremely talented individuals is what it is.
02:04Trusting good people.
02:05Trusting people who are not only excellent at their job, but who also love what they do.
02:10The dress that we ended up with is literally, I think it was the last dress that we tried on.
02:15We're kind of just like, okay, I think we found our piece.
02:18Like I think we're good to go.
02:19And we're both kind of like, let's just see what this one looks like.
02:23Put it on and we're like, okay, yeah, so this is the dress.
02:26Which is hilarious because we almost didn't try it on.
02:40You've got such a, like a strong look that I think it's important to like balance it with like hair
02:49and makeup.
02:50That's also pretty like easy and soft and yeah, it just kind of helps complement it.
02:59Nail color is also very simple.
03:03Bubble bath.
03:05Love her.
03:07Literally never a fail, but I also just learned, we were talking about this moments ago,
03:12that there's this new glazed donut thing going on, which I did not know about.
03:15But the nail tech was like, oh, do you want to try this?
03:17I said, sure.
03:18Honestly, after we spoke about what the initial idea was, I knocked out.
03:24So I woke up to these beautiful pink bubble bath, but also kind of like iridescent, like oval shaped nails,
03:33which are super pretty.
03:37I have like a lip balm addiction.
03:41And then other than some like body moisturizer and my film camera, I think I'm pretty set.
03:51Am I nervous?
03:52Are we nervous?
03:55Let's see.
03:56I'm definitely, I think, intrigued to see what the vibes are going to be.
04:03Definitely a lot of anticipation, but I don't know about nerves.
04:08There's like this like giddiness, but also like tingling that I'm feeling, but it's definitely more in the direction of
04:17excitement, I think.
04:20After tonight, I'm definitely looking forward to the, to the wind down, to the good shower, a good end of
04:30day stretch, pre-bed yoga flow.
04:36Riri Williams is this 19 year old super genius who has found herself at MIT.
04:45Definitely overconfident and over comfortable with her experience there.
04:51She's not really looking to be understood or, she's not looking to do anything other than maintain her self interest.
04:59Um, and it's that sort of comfortability that, um, gets her involved with Wakanda.
