00:00all over Israel are sounding in response to a barrage of missiles launched from Iran as we speak.
00:10So the Iranian answer has started.
00:13This aggression, this attack occurred in the midst of ongoing negotiations
00:19that were taking place between U.S. Special Envoy to Middle East Steve Witkoff
00:24and Iranian Foreign Minister Araqqi, who had met in Geneva just two days ago
00:31with the mediation of Oman, another Middle Eastern country.
00:37And the Omanian Foreign Minister just yesterday had said in an interview on U.S. television
00:43that negotiations were ongoing well, that consensus and agreement was closed.
00:50The Iranian Foreign Minister Araqqi also had made a similar statement
00:55that they had the best talks ever since the negotiations started.
01:00But this negotiation process, of course, is now being canceled with the Israeli-U.S. attacks on Iran.
01:09And Iran is answering militarily with a missile launch right now from its territory towards Israel.
01:17And the question is, how far will Iran answer?
01:23How big will the answer be first?
01:27The second question is, how will its regional allies such as Hashti Shaabi in Iraq, Hezbollah in Lebanon,
01:35and also Hamas in Palestine will react?
01:38Will they open a multi-front escalation against Israel and the United States or not?
01:45So these are questions that are open.
01:49And also another question is, will U.S. military bases in the Middle East,
01:54there is a number of them in Iraq, in Saudi Arabia, in Qatar, will they also be attacked?
02:01And the third question that remains to be seen is,
02:04what will happen in the Strait of Hormuz, the exit of the Persian Gulf,
02:08has a major route, the most important route of oil production and oil transport to the global markets?
02:15Iran had threatened to close that Strait in case of an aggression.
02:20So if that happens, this will cause two disruptions in oil transport
02:25and will cause a major effect on the global oil markets as well.
02:30This is something to observe as well as of now.
02:35There are reports already that major container ships are rerouting.
02:41They are evading the Red Sea.
02:43The Red Sea connects the Indian Ocean with the Mediterranean via the Suez Canal.
02:49And it borders Yemen, where the Ansarullah movement, an ally of Iran, is placed.
03:01And this Ansarullah movement has already previously, during the Palestine conflict,
03:06attacked those ships that were directed to Israel.
03:09So in a possible expectation of attacks against these kinds of commercial ships,
03:17major container companies are already rerouting.
03:21They do not go through the Suez Canal and Egypt,
03:25but via the Cup of Horn, Cup of Good Hope, excuse me,
03:31the South of Africa to reach European markets.
03:33That would also be a major disruption for the Western economy above all.
