00:00The EPF is declaring a dividend of 6.15% for both Simpanan Conventional and Simpanan Syariah.
00:13This is a rate that is commensurate with the portfolio as it is constructed today
00:18and the performance of the markets over the year 2025.
00:23This is the second year, as you will recall, of the separation between Simpanan Conventional and Simpanan Syariah.
00:31We will refer to the two funds as SK and SS for the rest of the briefing.
00:37And we are pleased that this is also the second year that we were able to deliver similar dividends between
00:43the two funds.
00:45On the right side of the screen, we also show the long-term compounded rate of dividend for EPF members.
00:54You will see that EPF has delivered a fairly consistent rate of compounded return over the medium and over the
01:02long term.
01:04Over the five and ten year period for Simpanan Conventional, it has been 5.88%
01:09and over 15 and 20 year period, it has been 6.03% and 5.87%.
01:17Relatively stable over the short term, medium term and the long term.
01:21For Simpanan Syariah, which has a shorter history,
01:24we have delivered five and ten year compounded return of 5.65% and 5.60%.
01:33So you will note the consistency of the compounded return over time.
01:37In fact, it is this long-term rate that is most important for EPF members
01:42and for the EPF in delivering its purpose of building a better retirement future for Malaysia.
