Arsenal legend Ian Wright was impressed with Viktor Gyokeres' brace against North London rivals Tottenham
Transcript
00:00Was that the best we've seen of Jokeres at the weekend against Tottenham?
00:04Yeah, I think so. I still have to say Tottenham were pretty poor with what they've done
00:11and how they've tried to mark him. I thought Eze made a great run for him to get that first
00:15goal,
00:15but when you look at Jokeres, it's the finishing and how quickly he can get it down and finish it.
00:22It's the same with what Odegaard set up for him, how he just moved the defender and finished it.
00:28I think that when he's got someone like Eze close to him and he can pick out one of the
00:36defenders,
00:36the weakest one, I thought Dragosin was the weakest one and we saw that, he can be very effective.
00:42Now, I did say I think he can score between 10 and 12. If he carries on now, I believe
00:47that he could probably get more.
00:49And every single goal now, when you look at Arsenal wearing everything, all the competitions,
00:53every single goal is so important for him now. If he could get on that kind of run now,
00:57especially after the two goals he scored against Spurs, hopefully he can score those goals.
01:04Because people constantly talk about him as the guy, he scores against the lower-end teams,
01:09which he's done in Portugal. He's doing it here, but that's what Arsenal always needed.
01:13We need that. We've scored goals against the top six. We've done that. We've shown we can do that.
01:17We need to break down that kind of defence and score goals against that kind of team.
01:22One of the things that I'm gonna get to after the last saying,
01:22I think just that thing happens, why don't you start the ineffective one and mention it?
