00:00Obviously, you're celebrating the magnificent accomplishments that you guys had over the Olympics,
00:05but you spoke about President Trump's comments about inviting you guys to the White House.
00:10I don't mean to detract from the celebration, but I'm curious if you had any further comments,
00:14anything else you'd like to add about that?
00:15No, I just thought the joke was distasteful and unfortunate.
00:21And I think just the way women are represented, it's a great teaching point
00:26to really shine light on how women should be championed for their amazing feats.
00:32And now I have to sort of sit, and anybody has to sit in front of you and explain someone
00:36else's behavior.
00:37It's not my responsibility.
00:43But what is, is shifting the focus and shifting the narrative of this amazing accomplishment that we all did together.
00:50And granted, the men's and the women's team did it together, and that is super special.
00:54It's never been done in our program's history.
00:56It's something we're extremely proud about.
00:58But these women are amazing.
01:01And whatever is going on should never outshine or minimize their work and our success on the world stage.
01:09This was the best American women's hockey team, the best American team we've ever put together on a world stage
01:16when the lights have been the brightest ever.
01:20And so I think everybody felt that, you know, going through the tournament.
01:24And I want to celebrate.
01:25I want people to be remembered for that.
01:27I want the legacy of this team to be remembered.
01:30And so that's what I'm trying to, you know, shift the narrative on
01:32and really focus on championing what we've done
01:35and what we've accomplished the last two and a half weeks together.
01:37I want to thank you, sir.
01:37I want to thank you, sir.
01:38Thank you, sir.
01:39Thank you, sir.
01:39Thank you, sir.

01:39Thank you, sir.
01:39Thank you, sir.
01:40Thank you, sir.
