00:002026 is here, let's talk unexpected color combos. I'm Io Gasti and I'm Miad and we are your Design Lab
00:06Stylists. Look if there is anything that 2025 taught us is that bold color is not going anywhere
00:16so here's our favorite picks for this year. Although earthy tones are not considered bold
00:20they actually can be. It's all about how you pair them. Think hues shaped by the sky and the sea
00:26and
00:26the strength of natural materials like warm wood and royal blue. These pairings can be powerful and
00:32full of character. Primary colors like red and blue can work together. When the shades are balanced and
00:38you play with subtle tones, like a softer blue with a muted brick red, the contrast feels energetic but
00:43so sophisticated. Speaking of soft blues, another favorite of mine is mist blue and sandstone blend.
00:49It feels poetic and it's grounding the palette with its sun-kissed warmth. And let's talk about yellow
00:55too. Another primary color that doesn't get the credit it deserves. If you go for a bright yellow
00:59balance it with softer shades like baby pink, that way yellow feels less shouty and more sunny and
01:06confident. Green is an interesting one. I love the combination of green and maroon. It's another
01:11combination that offers a rich and organic feel and together they create a statement and a touch of
01:17elegance. Absolutely and I personally love green with chrome. Those bright green or zesty lime tones
01:24in textures like a kitchen back splash sprayed with chrome cabinets. The chrome adds that cool
01:29reflective edge and the mix feels fresh, modern and a little unexpected in the best way. And now that
01:36you know our favorite picks, it's time for us to know yours. Comment below what colors you are bringing
01:41into 2026.
