00:00We need to think differently because you know our strategy plan is called our way.
00:05That we need to do things our way because the surroundings are so different.
00:09I think it's family. People want to be here.
00:11They don't need to go to another club to reach this and this because they can
00:15achieve it in this club.
00:17If you go six, seven years back, we were a really small club in Norway.
00:22We were like half of the time on second level, half of the time on playing in top level,
00:28but we were like relegated quite soon.
00:31We are a small club from north of the polar circle.
00:35We are living in a city which has like 50, 55,000 inhabitants.
00:40It's a small city and historically it's a small club as well.
00:43One way or another, we are situated in nowhere.
00:46The whole city is interested and it has a big boost in the city.
00:51I think the club has brought identity and proudness to the people in the north.
00:56The biggest thing about Bodo Glimt has been that we always think about performance.
01:00We don't give a **** about results, to be honest.
01:04You can feel that some games we can win like 5-0 in the league, but still the day after
01:09we are
01:09disappointed because we didn't do our best. And by keeping this mindset, we can keep developing.
01:17It's like, I think five, six, seven people that are in real core positions
01:21have been here now for seven, eight years and have like, have the opportunity to
01:27to make Bodo Glimt like a machinery in many aspects.
01:31I think Bodo Glimt definitely has been one of the causes that
01:35the Norwegian football has risen so much.
01:37I think we have been brave also investing the things that we have earned.
01:40We haven't like put it in the bank, but we have been brave enough to buy good players.
01:45It's not that many clubs in Europe that you can play in Europe every year and be a part of
01:50that.
01:51So I think both the players and the club, we really enjoy the journey and being a part of the
01:56European tournaments. And we see the potential in that and also building Norwegian football as we go.
02:04We are a new kid in town in many aspects, but that's a good thing to be.
02:08We don't set an end goal for everything. We have a goal to be better. And of course,
02:15we think that with this mindset, the results will come and we will achieve things in Europe
02:21and we will achieve things in our own league.
02:35I think it's an amazing evening for the club, for the players, for the town and also for Norwegian football.
02:42I think we have grown from a local regional top club to like, I think today we can say that
02:50we
02:50are a top club in Scandinavia and that we have performed well in Europe now for some years.
02:56So we are in a good place, I think.
