00:19Lindsey Vonn, an American Olympic skier, recently suffered a serious injury while
00:24competing at the 2026 Milano-Cortino Olympics. She suffered a compound tibia, fibula, and tibial
00:31plateau fracture in her left leg, as well as a fractured right ankle. This injury also caused
00:37compartment syndrome, a life-threatening condition that can lead to amputation. Vonn is currently
00:42recovering and uses a wheelchair. She hopes to be able to use crutches in a few weeks
00:47and will need about a year to fully recover.
