00:00Today I'm building a secret pool inside of my house through things like a poolside movie theater water slides and

00:05so much more

00:06I'm so confident this hidden room will be impossible to find

00:08I decided to build it inside my house without my mom knowing why is there water all over the freaking

00:12floor?

00:13We started by finding the perfect place in my basement and cut a giant hole in the wall

00:17My mom is never gonna find us in here. I don't really know how to get inside of this

00:32This old storage room my house is really dirty because no one's been in here for a very long time

00:36It's kind of crazy to think that we're inside the walls right now. No one is ever gonna find us

00:41It's time to come up with the perfect plan. Step one, we need to clean this room

00:47My mom just sent me a selfie of her at the water slides

00:49She has no idea that we're about to add water slides inside of my house

00:53Last night I surprised my mom with a luxury dream cruise all because we're about to do some pretty insane

00:57things to build this pool without her knowing

00:59Secret rooms are very effective to hide in. They're not that easy to clean

01:06We got a pretty big problem right now some of the trash inside of this room is way too big

01:14I'm trying to build a secret room to hide from my mom and these guys aren't serious

01:17It's serious business building secret rooms when you're 28 years old hiding from your mommy

01:23This team should now fit. We just gotta do this like 700 more times

01:27While we were busy cleaning the room my mom and sister arrived on their luxury cruise

01:30Our cruise ship just took off and it is incredible

01:39And everywhere you look there's in a cafe or a place that we can get food

01:42This is literally the biggest ship I've ever seen in my entire life

02:47I'm a little bit concerned because I bought this used

02:54So far everything looks really good

02:55But I feel like we're never gonna fully know if there's holes in this until we put water inside of

03:00We have a lot of steps to do before that

03:01We have to dig out a giant hole so we can actually inset our pool into the ground

03:05So we still have plenty of room for our slides and stuff

03:07We're gonna have to break our backs removing all of this dirt from the ground

03:10And that's why I have some help

03:15These two guys are gonna be helping us make this secret pool look just like this

03:18We need all the help we can get because we still have to fill our pool with water

03:41My sister is with my mom on the cruise to keep her distracted while we're busy building at home

03:45And she's also taking a bunch of notes of things we should add to our secret water park from the

03:49cruise ship

03:49I'm gonna give matthew a checklist of everything he needs to build before we go home in two days

03:52This giant circle represents the area that we have to dig out so we can install our pool into the

03:56ground

03:57And we're also going to be installing a second pool over there

04:03That thing just sparked with my body

04:05I have no idea what my mom and sister are doing but I guarantee they're not having as much fun

04:11And after hours of digging we can finally install the giant pool

04:15We have a pool in my house! I'm really glad that my mom's not home I'm eating a lot of

04:19We have a very massive problem and it's not big matter

04:22Unfortunately when we were installing the pool earlier we created a little hole right here

04:25So we're gonna have to fix that before we can actually fill this thing with water

04:57We're going to start off by adding a custom wooden frame across the entire wall

05:00And then we'll sculpt a custom K finish across the entire thing

05:14The next step is to install our deck

05:16I don't know how strong it is but we officially added the deck around our entire pool

05:53We have our flex seal right here that we're going to be attempting to fix the holes with

10:06While we were having so much fun in our pool we realized our cave was looking kind of boring

10:10So we're going to be using these foam blocks and attaching them to the wall so we can start sculpting

10:14it to look like a cave in here

10:15This is going to be the best skating room ever

10:18It's not going to be secret if this guy keeps screaming

10:22Is my mom home already?

10:23Let's just be quiet and start adding foam to the wall before someone

10:28The neighbor's outside

10:29Let's just start adding the foam before I'm off it

10:33It's very important we have a good strategy where to place the foam panels to be able to make it

10:36look as realistic as possible

10:41Our goal is to add as much depth and dimension as possible to make this cave look ultra realistic

10:45We've added a bunch of foam on this wall in here

10:47Now it's time to start sanding and sculpting it to make it look like an actual cave

11:01After hours of sanding the rocks are ready for the coolest part

11:04We left this giant area on this wall right here

11:06And that's because we're about to sculpt giant dinosaur fossils coming out of the wall

11:11When I say we I mean these two guys because they're extremely talented and they know everything about dinosaurs

11:17No, you look like an archaeologist remember

11:19It's a paleontologist

11:20Why don't you go talk to some girls or something

11:26The rocks inside of this room are looking absolutely amazing

11:29It looks like an actual cove that you would see in mexico with the water in the middle

11:32Now we just have to paint it to make it look even more realistic

11:35My mom's coming home soon so we needed a way to paint this room much faster

11:38Normally in all of our videos we use paint rollers

11:42I used to paint cars so i'm an expert with this thing big matt

11:46So i ever tell you guys i used to paint cars about a thousand times

11:49My old job before i did youtube i painted cars so i should be able to do this

12:09We use this foam for two reasons one so we can sculpt it to make it look like rocks and

12:13the second one is so it dampens the noise in here

12:16So my mom can't hear us having fun

12:19These deep grooves capture the sound and get rid of it i think that's the best scientific explanation i've ever

12:26Our cave is looking amazing but we actually did something without you noticing there is actually a cove right there

12:33We're actually going to be covering it up with a waterfall so there's another secret room inside of our secret

12:43I lost mom for a little bit you definitely need to make sure that you have lounge chairs

17:52So we're using a technique where you get the wood wet so it's easier to bend

18:03Building a slide is very difficult, but luckily after a few hours we figured it out
