00:00I know you said that was the last question,
00:02but I just want to say something really quickly.
00:05The reason I was late is that I just found out
00:08that my grandma passed away, and she was like a really,
00:12she was a really big part of my life growing up,
00:15and someone I looked up to immensely.
00:17She was such a strong, she was a fighter,
00:22and I think what's so interesting is that a lot of people
00:24just cruised through life, but she was a steamship.
00:27This woman commanded life, and she grabbed it by the reins,
00:31and she made it into what she wanted it to be.
00:34And she inspired me so much.
00:36The last time I saw her, before I came to the Olympics,
00:38she was very sick, so I knew that this was a possibility.
00:41I didn't promise her that I was going to win,
00:43but I did promise her that I was going to be brave.
00:45She has been brave, and that's why I keep referring
00:48to this theme of betting on myself and being brave and taking risks.
00:52It actually goes back to that promise that I made my grandma.
00:54And so I'm really happy that I was able to uphold that
00:58and hopefully do her proud.
01:00But it's also a really difficult time for me now,
01:02so I really apologize for being late,
01:05but that's what was going on.
01:06What, who, who, who, who, who your daughter said that?
01:06How are you talking about my grandma?
01:06Here it is.
01:06What.
