00:37So today I'll be visiting 10 different metro stations across Delhi and CR.

00:43We'll check if they have Sanitary Napkin vending machines.
00:45If they do have them, are they functional?

00:54So I just got back from my quick trip to the NMRC metro stations.
00:59And across all the five stations that I visited, there were few key differences from the DMRC
01:05metro stations.
01:06Firstly, we do not have to pay to use the washrooms.
01:09Secondly, all of these metro stations had Sanitary Napkin vending machines.
01:13Even though none of them were functional.
01:15One surprising thing was that I visited both the pink stations.
01:21In these two stations also, the vending machines were not working.
01:26And they did not even have Sanitary Napkins.

01:58And when I talked to the staff there, they told me that this machine was not installed by
02:02the DMRC.
02:03It was installed by an NGO.
02:05And the NGO was responsible for operating it.
02:08It is shocking, honestly, to see none of these metro stations have a Sanitary Napkin vending
02:15machine.
02:16Even after being some of the busiest metro stations in Delhi.
02:20And having so many women commuters traveling every single day.
