00:00You've appealed to Genesis.
00:01Genesis 15 says it's Abram, it's pre-Abraham, it's Abram,
00:06receives from God the news that his descendants will inherit the land,
00:10and you tell me as the theologian if I'm getting this wrong,
00:13but from the Euphrates to the Nile.
00:16I think that's right.
00:18And that would include basically the entire Middle East.
00:22That would be the Levant, so that would be Israel, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon.
00:27It would also be big parts of Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
00:31I'm not sure it would go that far.
00:33I mean, it would be a big piece of land, but here's the point.
00:35It would be a lot of places that are now countries.
00:38But this particular area that we're talking about now, Israel,
00:46is a land that God gave through Abraham to a people that he chose.
00:51It was a people, a place, and a purpose.
00:54We can look at it that way.
00:56Christian Zionism.
00:57I want to go back because that's where we started on this.
00:59I'm not going to let you off on this because you have said it three times
01:02that God gave this land to this people.
01:05And so it is entirely fair for me with respect to ask,
01:08what land are you talking about?
01:09Because I just read Genesis 15, as I have many times.
01:13And that land, I think it says, from the Nile to the Euphrates,
01:17which is, once again, basically the entire Middle East.
01:21So God gave that land to his people, the Jews, or he didn't.
01:25You're saying he did.
01:27What does that mean?
01:28Does Israel have the right to that land?
01:32Because you're appealing to Genesis.
01:33You're saying that's the original deed.
01:38It would be fine if they took it all.
01:40It would be fine if they took it all.
