00:27Growing up in Malaysia, I lived between two worlds of wonder. One was the glowing cinema screens, which always felt
00:35so far away, and the other was the quiet fishing trips with my parents under the vast open skies.
00:43My father would point out the North Star. He said, the one you could always trust to guide you home.
00:50And beside him was my mom, who is the real diva here, who taught me that the horizon was far
00:59wider than I ever imagined.
01:01Between the two of them, I found my roots and my wings.
01:06I honestly never dreamed that one day my old North Star would be here, etched into the ground of Hollywood
01:14Boulevard.
01:15The star make Harry one name, but it represents so many people who made this journey possible.
01:21I hope it also reminds someone, somewhere, that it is possible, that where you begin, does not define where you
01:30can go.
01:32Because, very easy, once I was a little girl from Malaysia, sitting under the vast sky, looking up at a
01:41single steady star, and daring to believe I could follow it.
01:47And now there's one on the ground.
01:52To my dad, I know you're up there, still watching and guiding me.
01:57To my mom, who is still praying every day for me that I will succeed.
02:03This is our star, and thank you to each and every one of you for being here, for showing your
02:10love and support to me, always, in my journey.
02:14That's led me to Hollywood.
02:18I didn't expect how emotional it would get.
