02:37So, with ArtPunt, we set ourselves three main missions.
02:41The first one was to try to democratize access to art by making it visible to in other places than
02:48museums.
02:49The second one was to promote a new generation of artists who use the digital tool and who wanted to
02:56make us think a new way about the society we are living in.
03:03The third one was really to re-engineer spaces through art, and digital art has this power.
03:10So, when we met with Laurie, we wrote a thesis about the market of digital art in order to understand
03:17how we could bring the best model for the artist,
03:21how we could really be helpful to give them a new visibility and also some new revenues.
03:27And then we arrived at ArtPunt, and as Spotify will make a revolution for music, Netflix for cinema,
03:36with ArtPunt, we really want to make a revolution for digital art.
03:40So, after we wrote this thesis, we met all the best digital artists worldwide,
03:46and today we are really proud to have a community of a bit more than 350 artists who are coming
03:55from everywhere in the world.
03:57So, we represent a bit more than 50 countries, very proud of this.
04:02The community is growing very fast, and to give you a word about these artists, they are all using the
04:09digital tools.
04:09Some of them are natively digital, but a lot of them are artists that were previously painters or sculptors, for
04:20instance,
04:21and they will use digital tools because we have more and more digital tools today.
04:28So, for instance, a lot of artists who will use AI to question the relation that we have with our
04:34world.
04:36So, sorry, just a word also about the catalogue.
04:42After, thanks to the best of these artists, we built the biggest catalogue as we go to digital art,
04:50so we are also very proud today to have a catalogue of around 5,000 digital artworks
04:58that we display on screen in living spaces, and we have the power today to turn all our screens into,
05:08like, real digital art experience.
05:11So, today we work with corporate offices like BPCE, Société Générale, Vinci, Sanofi, Worldline, with hotels, of course,
05:20Accor, Marriott, Hilton, with retail spaces as well, Vipari, Saxécite, and we offer them two offers.
05:28So, the first offer is a digital art streaming offer.
05:32So, in exchange for a monthly subscription, our clients get access to constantly renewed digital art exhibition.
05:38So, we can display digital art on any screen, and each month, we will provide a personalized collection of 10
05:46artworks,
05:47and the months after, you will get to discover new artists.
05:51Maybe one month, we will present 3D, and maybe the months after, we will present just women artists and everything.
05:57And then, we have a second offer, it's commissioned art, so we can also create new artworks out of a
06:04specific brief,
06:05and for that, we will help our client establish a brief, and then we will identify the right artists for
06:12your project
06:12and help the artist in the projection of the work.
06:17So, today, our ambition is really to make ArtPoint grow, in France, of course, but abroad.
06:25We already have some clients in the US and in Asia, so if you want to know more, if you
06:31want to exhibit digital art in your space,
06:34do not hesitate to come see us, booth K12, and also do not hesitate to follow us on Instagram,
06:40artpoint.xyz, and to visit our website, because you will be able to discover our entire catalogue,
06:49the 3050 digital artists, and if you want to know your personalized selection,
06:56we have an AI test that is going on on our booth, so you will have to answer a few
07:03questions,
07:03and then our AI, Bena, will present you a personalized collection that will fit your taste.
07:11So, do not hesitate to come see us.
07:12A word also about our stand here in VivaTech, feel free to come, we are stand K12.
07:20Yesterday, we displayed works about, like, female works, about the place of the woman in our society,
07:27and today, the big thematic is about nature, how we can mix nature and new technologies for a better world,
07:35so we would be, like, very happy to present you the exhibition, because we are really, really convinced
07:42that all our screens should display art, and should be a good way to democratize and to bring us more
07:49magic in our lives.
07:51Beauty will save the world.
07:54If you are a Greek, come, stand, K12.
08:02Okay, all right, well, we've got time for some questions, if you want to stick around.
08:08I have a question.
08:11So, the art that you are showing in these pieces, I mean, because, listen, I mean, I know about the
08:17world of traditional art,
08:18of, like, I wouldn't say real art, but paintings, or whatever, or sculptures, etc.
08:23Now, this stuff, do you, for example, do you have the right to, I mean, to show any art that
08:30is created,
08:30any NFT or digital art that is created, or on your side, do you have to pay a licensing to
08:36the artists in order to show anything,
08:38or are you using strictly non-licensed works, or how does that work?
08:44With the artists, you mean, what is the...
08:46Yeah, the agreement for the artists, yeah.
08:48It's easy.
08:49Our clients pay a monthly subscription to have access to digital artworks.
08:53Okay.
08:54And as soon as the work is displayed in a place, then the artists will receive some copyrights,
09:00because, of course, it's a new visibility, but also some new revenues for the artists.
09:05So, as soon as the artist is highlighted in a place, he receives some royalties.
09:10Okay, so, like, a commission for the artists?
09:12And it was really the mission of ArtPoint at the beginning, because we were seeing a growing community of digital
09:17artists,
09:17because, but they were just sharing their works on Instagram and generating no revenues out of those personal works.
09:24They were just doing, like, commissioned art to really live off their work,
09:28and we just decided to exhibit those art, those artworks, to enable them to generate revenues as well.
09:37Okay.
09:37Okay, so then basically there's a lot of art out there, right?
09:40There's a lot of...
09:41So, okay, so it's a kind of...
09:44So, actually, what you're doing is you're providing a platform for them where they can...
09:47to get, you know, obviously more commission or revenue than just showing it on Instagram or Facebook or whatever.
09:54Okay, I get it.
09:55Okay.
09:56All right.
09:56Actually, any questions from the audience about what they're doing?
10:03No questions?
10:05Oh, we have a question.
10:06Yeah.
10:07Thank you.
10:10Thank you.
10:11Please speak into the mic so we can hear you.
10:13Thank you very much.
10:14Just one question.
10:15How do you deal with NFT?
10:21So, today, of course, is really to be the first platform to represent digital artists.
10:29And we first wanted to give them opportunities to exhibit their works in public spaces to grow their community, to
10:37generate more revenues.
10:38And now, we also want to connect them to collectors and true patrons.
10:44So, we also developed an NFT offer.
10:46And today, we have launched four collections with around 10 artists that were able to sell their works on our
10:56platform.
10:56So, we want to gather artists that want to create, that want to exhibit, that want to sell their works,
11:04exhibitors that just want to take the magic of digital art for their space,
11:09and collectors that want to make sure they want to make sure they want to make sure they want to
11:19make sure they're willing to buy the best NFTs they can find.
11:28You want to follow up?
11:30Does that answer your question?
11:31Okay.
11:32Okay.
11:32Thank you.
11:33Anyone else?
11:35Yeah.
11:35Good.
11:37I'll take yours.
11:38Thanks.
11:43Thank you.
11:44Great presentation.
11:46How do you see generative art products like Dolly and MidJourney impacting your business, if at all?
11:54Thank you.
11:55I think our mission is even more powerful because we help companies identify the best artists.
12:07So, artists that are using AI, but with their own inspiration, to try to understand how AI can change tomorrow,
12:19the way we interact, the way we create.
12:22So, we will never exhibit just a piece that has been done with Dolly without any thinking.
12:30We really represent artists that are working with AI, but with true authenticity, I guess.
12:38And I think also that there is a real distinction between a work generated with AI and just assisted with
12:47AI.
12:48It can be just a tool that will help artists to go in other approach and everything, but real distinction
12:58between generated and assisted.
13:01But I think today we definitely need the vision of artists on this technology because they are really thinking how
13:12this will change our world and their message is very powerful.
13:16And I think what is very interesting is that they are not that afraid.
13:21They really want to work with AI and to embrace that technology.
13:26And I think we should all do this.
13:29And last thing, today we display a work of Benjamin Bardou.
13:33He is a very good, very popular French artist who also uses AI and you will see his approach if
13:42you are coming into our stand.
13:44We will really see how we can recognize his approach through AI and how it can be just a tool
13:50in his artistic approach.
13:55All right.
13:56Okay.
13:56That's what we have time for.
13:57So, Larry and Julie from Our Point, thank you very much.
14:01See you again.
