00:02:34as we welcome you to the 2025 Sherri Martell Classic.

00:02:41It's the second annual Sherri Martell Classic.

00:02:43Kirby Weakler there on the call last year, one of the greatest tournaments I've ever seen.

00:02:47I can expect nothing less than here tonight for the second-ever annual Sherri Martell Classic.

00:02:53From Dallas, Texas, she is the anchor, Maya World!

00:03:05Maya World making her way here for her first entry into the Sherri Martell Classic.

00:03:12As we know that she is looking to solidify one of the most incredible 2025's we've seen from any competitor

00:03:20here at the Reality of Wrestling.

00:03:23And the Maya World is on the tip of the tongue of somebody in this business as of like, talk

00:03:29about stepping up to the plate when it's needed.

00:03:32Maya World's not coming to play here in the opening round of the Sherri Martell Classic.

00:03:38Well, the Sherri Martell Classic has a very interesting bracket here, Sammy.

00:03:42It is going to be six matches to get us started here in the first round.

00:03:46Each winner is going to move into a separate triple threat.

00:03:50And the two winners of those triple threats are going to meet in the finals.

00:03:53And the winner of that match will be the Sherri Martell Classic winner.

00:04:12And I think maybe that was a bit of mind games played by Maya World is clearly

00:04:17Maya World baiting London Dior in this first of the opening round match-ups.

00:04:22Well, these two women come to us from Dallas, Texas, and they've trained together.

00:04:26They have a lot of history here outside of Reality of Wrestling.

00:04:29Now, bringing it to Reality of Wrestling, and we know Maya World has championship prowess to her name.

00:04:35London Dior, on the other hand, has not been able to win a match here at Reality of Wrestling.

00:04:39Should she finally change her luck here tonight, she would advance to that next triple threat.

00:16:20Every year I've been in this tournament, I've made it further and further.

00:16:26I'm the first and only Glory Women's Champion.

00:16:29I'm the first and only Triple Crown Champion in reality of wrestling history.

00:19:06champion,

00:19:07because last year, Tiana McKenzie was here for the show as a student.

00:19:12She hadn't even had too many matches, and she hadn't even competed in the Sherry Martell Classic,

00:19:16so she's looking to go through that ceiling and maybe win the entire thing.

00:19:22Well, I think that the great thing about reality of wrestling is it gives opportunities for people to make a

00:19:27name to themselves,

00:19:28try and break through, as you mentioned, Kirby, that glass ceiling.

00:19:31We saw the Hall of Famer, Charmel, welcoming some of the young students, the young women,

00:19:36training to one day potentially compete in the Sherry Martell Classic.

00:19:40Tiana McKenzie was one of those young ladies.

00:19:42How great is it to see her competing here tonight in this year's Sherry Martell Classic?

00:19:46Well, it just shows her own progress here, not just as a student, but as a bona fide professional wrestler,

00:19:51taking on all challengers, especially, again, the former reality of wrestling women's champion.

00:19:56That's not an easy task to have that as your first assignment.

00:19:59Another young woman that was in the ring with Tiana McKenzie last year was Mandy Wilde.

00:20:03She'll be competing in the Martell Classic on the other side of the bracket,

00:20:06but right now it's all about the left bracket.

00:20:08Who's going to join Maya World?

00:20:10And able to reverse that headlock now as Roche Chanel starting to fire through here.

00:20:15But Tiana showing off her own the fleticism.

00:20:21Tyrone May still absolutely dominated that first-round matchup.

00:20:35I mean, there's not a lot of, you can't do a lot of scouting against someone who's so fresh in

00:20:39this business.

00:20:40But again, this is a one-night tournament.

00:20:42I don't think any of these women can afford to be playing too much, feeling out-processed here.

00:20:47Whoever goes on has to have another match in the semifinals.

00:20:50And then if you get past that, you have another in the finals here tonight.

00:20:57It's potentially a very long night for one of these two women.

00:23:21And then, of course, she was a close personal friend of Booker's, was instrumental in helping Harlem Heat be all

00:23:27So this is wonderful to be able to pay homage to her.

00:23:31And how does it feel to see women from all around the world want to compete here at Reality of

00:23:36Wrestling and make a name for themselves?

00:23:38You know, I've always been an advocate for women in wrestling.

00:23:41So to have these women want to come here to be in our arena means the world to me.

00:23:46It means I'm doing something right.

00:23:48So we have a lot of interesting competitors here tonight.

00:23:52We have some regulars of the Roe Nation roster.

00:23:56We have Gigi Ray.

00:23:57We have Monica Monroe.
