00:03so a lot of people lose a lot of shots around the greens they've hit a couple of decent shots

00:28and over and lob it as high as we can we'd all give it a bit of lawn bowls and
00:32roll it along the ground
00:34that gives you the answer to the question of what club you should be putting in your hand at that
00:38point we want something with less loft on here we want to be doing a short little chip shot that
00:43runs
00:43the ball in there's absolutely no point taking our sandwich out flying it as high as we can in the
00:48air
00:48because for that we're going to need quite a big swing and we all know if that goes wrong there's
00:53quite a lot of momentum there to carry a ball further out and over the back of the green so
00:58small compact swing is much much safer option so that's one of the best ways to work out what club

01:09so here's the perfect opportunity where if we had that ball on our hand and we were going to throw

01:15we're going to have to be a bit cute with it and pop it up high and get it to
01:18stop quick so that tells
01:20us that we need to choose something with a lot of loft on it so possibly the most lofted club

01:24bags might be a sandwich might be a lob wedge the biggest thing to remember with these clubs is they
01:29put the ball in the air for you the only thing you've got to do is make sure you get
01:33the turf so
01:34you get what's underneath it and all you need to apply to this is a nice little tick tock action
01:40so just
01:41back and through and the ball will pop up in the air because there's loft on that club not because
01:47you're trying to help it
