‘K‑Pop Demon Hunters’ steals spotlight as Mattel rolls out new DC, Barbie, and Hot Wheels lines  Mattel previewed its new toy lineup ahead of the 2026 Toy Fair at New York’s Javits Center on Feb. 13, 2026. Film tie-ins, DC superheroes, a refreshed Barbie franchise, and K-Pop Demon Hunters dominated the exhibit. The organizer of the fair, The Toy Association, estimates that approximately 3 billion toys are sold annually in the US, generating approximately $45.6 billion in retail toy sales. The Toy Fair, a major North American industry showcase, opens on Feb. 14 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, and goes on until Feb. 17.
