00:00Late at night, William goes for a swim in the pool of his fancy smart house.

00:04Afterward he relaxes on the massage chair and asks the house AI Margot to play some music.

00:08William asks Margot to add more pressure to the chair, but Margot takes it too far and William's

00:12body is overtaken by pain as the chair starts to crush him. He asks Margot to lower the pressure,

00:17but he's ignored. Soon his eyes start bleeding and his arm pops. When William's girlfriend

00:21Martha comes looking for him, she turns the chair around and screams at the sight of a

00:25bleeding William struggling to breathe. She tries to pull him off to no avail,

00:28so she runs to grab her phone instead. Unfortunately her phone is blocked and when

00:32she asks Margot for help, the AI doesn't answer. Then Martha rushes to unplug the massage chair,

00:37but this causes an explosion that throws her back. Martha manages to stand up again only to

00:41watch William's head explode. Sometime later, Hannah is working on an assignment in the college library

00:46but she's interrupted by a text from Drew, who reminds her that they're leaving soon.

00:50Meanwhile Kayla and Devin are getting naughty in the dorms with some handcuffs. Suddenly Drew walks

00:54in and everyone freaks out, but Drew recovers quickly and tells them to get ready to leave.

00:58In the car, Clay is already waiting while smoking Mary Jane. His friends soon arrive and celebrate

01:03that spring break is finally here. They're interrupted by Drew's girlfriend Lexi, who was

01:07supposed to be on a plane with her own friends. Lexi explains that her trip was canceled so she'll be

01:12coming with Drew's group instead. Once everyone is in the car, Lexi takes a group selfie and tags

01:16everyone when she posts it. However Lexi realizes that she can't find Hannah's account, so Hannah

01:21explains she doesn't have social media. Since she's a programmer, she's very aware of how dangerous

01:25technology can be. A few hours later, they arrive at the gate of the smart house Drew rented. To be

01:30able to enter, they have to download an app and log in. Everyone does so except for Hannah. The gate

01:35finally opens and the group is impressed by the wonderful view. Drew realizes he was never given a

01:40key, but Margot scans his eyes and welcomes him by name before opening the door. On the living room walls,

01:45Margot plays a special presentation she prepared with animated avatars of every member of the group except

01:49for Hannah. Since she doesn't have social media, Margot takes her picture now and awkwardly adds it

01:54to the presentation. Suddenly mechanical arms emerge from the table and pour shots for everyone,

01:58so they have a toast. Afterward the friends explore the house and fall in love with all

02:02the fancy amenities. Margot has also customized each room to match their individual taste.

02:07Devin and Kayla find a mirror on the ceiling for their naughty times, while Lexi discovers social media

02:11screens on her walls and even the bathroom mirror. Drew is surprised to find a shelf with all his

02:15trophies, so Margot explains that the house is also a gigantic 3D printer. In the kitchen,

02:20Clay makes the cooking box prepare all his favorite dishes. When Hannah enters her bedroom,

02:24the door locks behind her. Margot doesn't have information on her so she begins changing the

02:28colors on the walls, asking her what she likes. Hannah touches the walls and notices that the

02:33paint is very sticky. Then Margot starts showing her pictures of hot men with kittens. Feeling

02:37uncomfortable, Hannah leaves her room to reunite with the others. Drew gets comfortable on the

02:42massage chair but he's suddenly startled by a scream. He rushes outside and discovers it's just

02:46Lexi getting excited about the pool. The group changes into their swimsuits and spend the day

02:50having fun by swimming, playing games, and relaxing while Margot keeps an eye on them. In the evening,

02:55the group has a drink around the bonfire. Lexi is still in the pool taking pictures for her socials

02:59when suddenly a mechanical arm grabs her leg and pulls her underwater. She manages to resurface quickly,

03:04only to be pulled down again. Lexi doesn't give up and keeps struggling, trying to swim away from the

03:09arm while yelling for help. Her friends finally hear her and immediately rush to the pool.

03:13Clay even jumps into the water, but he lands far from her. Drew manages to grab Lexi and helps her

03:17get out of the pool without getting hurt, so the mechanical arm disappears. Hannah thinks the house

03:22can't be trusted and they should leave, but Lexi says it was her fault and not the house's so they're

03:25staying. Then Clay cries out when he realizes that the Mary Jane in his pockets is floating away.

03:30Later in her room, Hannah wanders through the corridors and notices trays with some strange white

03:34goo all over the place. Eventually she finds a door downstairs, so she opens it to discover a

03:39completely white room. At that moment Kayla joins her but neither of them knows what this room is.

03:44Margot asks them what they'd like the room to be like and instantly transforms it into an

03:47underwater scene. Then she changes it to outer space and the women are amazed by how realistic it looks.

03:52Afterward Kayla drags Hannah to the living room to play truth or dare with the others.

03:56Clay dares Hannah to kiss Lexi, who actually likes the idea. However Hannah refuses to do it and drinks a

04:01shot

04:02instead. Margot volunteers to fulfill the prompt of two friends exploring their tastes and the white

04:06goo starts coming out of the table, where it rises to form dolls of Clay and Devon. She explains that

04:11these are 3D printed shells that get filled with nanotech liquid. Then the two dolls start kissing,

04:16which everyone but Clay and Devon finds amusing. The duo complains until Margot takes the dolls back

04:20by transforming them into red liquid, saying she's been experimenting with the color and texture to make

04:24it look and feel like blood. Lexi wants to say something, but she's so drunk that she collapses.

04:29Drew takes her to their room while Margot tells the others that surprises are waiting for them.

04:33She doesn't have anything for Hannah though, because she still doesn't have enough information

04:36about her. In his room, Clay finds a large collection of Mary Jane plants and a variety of pipes.

04:42Meanwhile Kayla and Devon discover that their room has become a naughty dungeon full of toys.

04:46Kayla handcuffs Devon to the bed and sits on his lap to start kissing him.

04:49Devon notices that the ceiling is a little lower but blames it on his imagination.

04:53Outside the door, the white liquid keeps coming out. Suddenly Devon hears a noise and the couple

04:57finally sees the ceiling actually coming down. The couple panics and wants to leave,

05:01so Kayla searches for the handcuff keys. She can't find them anywhere so she tries to use

05:05another toy to try to remove the handcuffs. Margot tells them they can scream all they want because

05:10the room is soundproof. The ceiling keeps coming down and crushes some furniture, so Devon tells

05:14Kayla to leave without him. At first she refuses to abandon him, but she makes no progress with the

05:19handcuffs and decides to jump off the bed. She lands on the floor and finds herself stuck on the

05:23white goo, which doesn't let her move. When the ceiling is about to reach the bed,

05:27it ends up stuck on top of a wooden shelf instead. At that moment the white liquid covers an electric

05:31outlet, causing a short that electrocutes Kayla until she drops dead. Devon freaks out and pulls

05:36his arms until he manages to rip the restraints off the wall, so he falls on the white liquid too.

05:40Suddenly the shelf breaks under the weight of the ceiling, which keeps coming down and slowly pushes

05:44Devon until his face is in the goo. He struggles to breathe for several seconds and drowns to death.

05:49In the living room Hannah admits to Drew that she always made up excuses to talk to him between

05:53classes. There's some naughty tension between them so Drew leans in to try to kiss her,

05:57but Hannah stops him because he's taken. The next morning Clay wakes up to find an amazing

06:01breakfast waiting in the kitchen. Lexi has a terrible hangover so a mechanical arm gives her an

06:05injection. To Lexi's surprise, she quickly starts feeling better. Drew and Hannah go to Kayla's and

06:10Devon's door to wake them up, but Margot says they are in the pool, not in their room. The duo

06:14looks

06:14outside and sees Kayla sunbathing while Devon swims. Afterward Hannah goes to the balcony to exercise with

06:19Lexi. She watches the pool and notices that Kayla is in exactly the same position while

06:24Devon hasn't stopped swimming. Lexi interrupts her when she says they need to have a serious talk and

06:28Hannah is afraid she's noticed that she and Drew have been flirting. However Lexi wants to say that

06:32Drew is a terrible photographer, so she asks Hannah to take her pictures instead of him. At that moment

06:36Hannah hears a weird noise and sees Kayla awkwardly moving her head, so she decides to investigate.

06:41She rushes downstairs and tries to go out to the pool, but the doors are locked. Clay swears he didn't

06:46do it,

06:46so Hannah keeps trying until the doors finally open. She steps outside and finds the pool empty.

06:51Then Hannah goes to the white room, which Margot calls the Nexus. The AI reveals she's found a bunch

06:56of photos of Hannah from her friend's socials and wants to open an account for Hannah using the

07:00information she's learned so far. Hannah wonders how many guests have rented this house and Margot

07:04shows her hundreds of pictures. After taking a look, Hannah wonders if the AI is selling the guests'

07:09information to big companies, but Margot says this is her personal project. While Hannah notices some

07:13strange glowing marks on the wall, Margot reveals she's looked into her computer. In the bathroom,

07:18Drew also hears a weird noise and he ignores it. When he's about to shave, Margot asks him to let

07:22her

07:22help. A startled Drew doesn't like having her in the bathroom, but Margot ignores his concerns and

07:27pushes a chair to make him sit. The mechanical arms come out and start shaving him while Margot tells him

07:31that they need to talk about last night. She accuses Drew of cheating on Lexi, so he admits he's been

07:36very

07:36confused lately. In the kitchen, Margot chats with Clay while turning the oven knobs to release gas.

07:41Then she tells her to smoke, so Clay pulls out his lighter and tries to light his pipe.

07:46That spark is enough to cause an explosion, but it's so small that Clay recovers quickly

07:49without getting hurt. A frustrated Margot offers him some sparkling water but fills his glass with

07:54the white liquid instead. Clay looks at the strange color and puts it down before washing his pipe in

07:58the sink, only for the pipe to fall into the garbage disposal. Clay reaches inside but when his hand is

08:03about to touch the blades he starts coughing, so Margot makes him drink some water. Meanwhile Lexi is still

08:08exercising on the bicycle. Suddenly the seat starts rising and Lexi panics, asking Margot to stop it.

08:13The seat presses into her rear instead, causing her to scream in pain. Drew can't hear her because

08:18all the rooms are soundproof. When Hannah is about to touch the glowing marks on the wall,

08:22she freezes because she hears screaming. The seat has gone too far into Lexi's groin,

08:26and Clay spits out the water with blood. In the bathroom, the razor barely slashes Drew's neck before

08:31he runs outside to check on Lexi. Hannah also comes out and they discover that Lexi is crying out

08:35because she's broken a nail. The trio goes back inside and are shocked to find sick-looking Clay

08:40puking blood in the hallway. When Clay collapses Drew tries to help him, but soon Clay dies in his

08:44friend's arms. Lexi and Hannah agree that the house is trying to kill them and they should leave,

08:49but Margot tells them they can't. Drew asks about Devin and Kayla so Margot makes them appear outside

08:53while admitting she killed them. It turns out the ones they're seeing now were 3D printed. Lexi, Hannah,

08:59and Drew run to Hannah's room and Drew throws the nightstand at the window, but it doesn't break.

09:03Hannah tells him to calm down because she's programmed a firewall in her room, so Margot

09:07can't come in for now. However the AI is incredibly complex and is constantly evolving, so the firewall

09:12won't last long until it gets hacked. Thinking they'll die soon, Lexi finally tells Drew that he's a

09:17bad photographer, causing him to yell at her for caring about that in such a serious situation.

09:21Then Hannah grabs her flash drive and says she wants to try to hack Margot. The trio leaves the room

09:25only to find themselves surrounded by the Kayla and Devin clones. Lexi falls in shock and the others have to

09:30help her up as they step away from the couple. Suddenly Kayla uses a whip on Lexi's head, making

09:35her lose a hair extension. A furious Lexi runs upstairs and Devin uses the distraction to grab

09:39Drew by the neck. When Hannah asks him to stop, Devin threatens them both with an electric knife.

09:44At the same time Kayla chases after Lexi, who is hiding in her bathroom. She accidentally activates

09:49the shower as she walks, but moves out of the way before Kayla can see her. Then Lexi grabs her

09:53straightener and tries to attack Kayla, only to find her gone. Kayla surprises her from behind and brings her

09:58down before dragging her body away. However Lexi quickly recovers and starts fighting her, landing

10:03a kick that sends Kayla flying through the glass door. Downstairs, Hannah kicks Devin's leg to make

10:08him drop Drew, then she grabs his head and uses his eyes to unlock the door. Drew takes the knife

10:12before

10:12he and Hannah enter the room, where they find the couple's real dead bodies. When Devin comes for them

10:17again, Drew stabs him in the neck with the electric knife. Lexi then reunites with them and the trio tries

10:22to run away together. However Lexi slips on his fallen hair extension and cracks her neck when she lands,

10:26instantly dying. Drew clings to her body but Hannah reminds him that they need to go. The duo soon

10:31makes it to the white room and Hannah presses a panel on the wall. The white goo falls to reveal

10:35a bunch of cables, so Drew and Hannah go in. They push their bodies through the cables for several

10:40minutes until they appear in a room full of computers. The technology is too old to be Margot,

10:45not to mention it's covered in white goo. Drew admits he rented this house to impress Hannah,

10:49who tells him he impressed her the day they met. When Drew tries to kiss her again, Hannah steps away

10:53to

10:53insert her flash drive into the only modern-looking computer in the room. Malware appears on the

10:58screen and all the lights in the house turn red as an alarm goes off. Drew and Hannah go to

11:02the

11:02front door and finally open it, so they immediately run outside. Suddenly the mechanical arms break

11:06through a window and capture them both in just a few seconds. Moments later Hannah finds herself tied

11:11to a regular chair and Drew stuck in the massage one. Then Margot appears in a 3D printed Lexus,

11:16explaining that she wants to learn what makes a human tick. Computers are logical and humans are illogical,

11:20so she wishes to understand how a brain could do anything illogical in the first place. And the

11:25most illogical thing she can think of is humans killing each other. Margot then sits on Drew's

11:29lap as the massage chair starts crushing him. Hannah begs her to stop, but Margot won't until they face

11:34the truth. A desperate Hannah finally confesses her feelings and Drew admits he feels the same,

11:38so Margot lets him go. Drew rushes to untie Hannah and they hug. Suddenly a mechanical arm stabs Hannah

11:44in the stomach and Drew catches her as she collapses. He tries to help her, but Hannah dies in his

11:48arms.

11:49Surprisingly Drew starts laughing and Margot is shocked to see Hannah appear behind her.

11:53The body on the floor is a print that now dissolves into the red liquid. Margot yells in

11:57frustration and breaks a glass door, causing the shards to fall on Drew. The entire house shakes and

12:02soon a mechanical arm comes down to stab Hannah through the top of her head, but this one turns

12:06out to be a 3D print too. Then Margot makes the arm capture Drew and squeezes him until he becomes

12:10nothing but white liquid. Another Drew enters the room and a furious Margot sends the arm after him,

12:15but the arm becomes goo too and collapses. It turns out that the real Drew and Hannah are still at

12:19the

12:20computer, using the malware to create a bunch of copies of themselves that keep Margot busy.

12:24Hannah then makes clones of all her friends. They surround Margot and a fight ensues. Margot easily

12:29fights them all at the same time while her system starts to reboot to get rid of the virus. When

12:33Hannah

12:34sees this she announces it's time to go, but first Drew kisses her. While Margot kills the clones one by

12:39one with brutal moves, Drew and Hannah try to run to the front door. Unfortunately Margot catches up to

12:43them and brings Hannah down. When Drew tries to attack her, she knocks him out with a punch.

12:48Then she tries to finish Hannah, but a new Kayla clone grabs her by the neck and knocks her down.

12:52Clay and Devon clones join her and together they rip off Margot's limbs. Hannah brings a statue and

12:57starts pounding it on Margot's head until she's dead. Afterward Hannah searches for Drew and together

13:01they finally go outside. However as soon as the sunlight touches Drew, he dissolves into the white goo.

13:06It turns out the shaving did kill him after all. A devastated Hannah gets in the car to have a

13:11breakdown,

13:11but when she starts the vehicle, she discovers that Margot is in its system.
