China Preparing To Launch Uncrewed Shenzhou-22 To Replace Damaged Spacecraft

CMSA official Zhou Yaqiang talks about how preparations are underway to launch an uncrewed Shenzhou-22 spacecraft to the Tiangong Space Station. It will serve as Shenzhou-21 crew's ride back to Earth.

The Shenzhou-20 spacecraft was damaged by space debris. The crew of that spacecraft took the Shenzhou-21's crew's ride to get back to Earth, creating a need for a new spacecraft for the current crew.
