00:00The Estonian delegation has quite a presence here at the World Defence Show 2026.
00:05A strong focus on digital resilience and cyber security, intelligence systems.
00:12Can you talk me through the role that Estonia is playing in contributing to defence and security, particularly in the
00:20cyberspace?
00:21Well, first of all, we, as a small nation, we cannot afford to build, like, airplanes or something like that.
00:29But what we can afford is that we are making those, let's say, legacy systems smarter.
00:35So this is why our strength has always been cyber, we mentioned already, but automation, robotics, AI, drones,
00:43all this what actually, you know, brings a change to the battlefield what we see in Ukraine.
00:49And this is why, you know, also this focus here has been on this.
00:53But not only. Estonian defence sector has grown rapidly.
00:57So the turnovers have grown, like, in a couple of years, like three-folds.
01:02Our Defence Industry and Space Association has grown to, like, 200 companies.
01:09So we are growing.
01:10And, you know, the most important is that we try to explain to our partners why it is important to
01:18focus on the AI, on the cyber.
01:20And this is our strength.
01:22And, of course, you know, when we talk about the ammunition production, although we are also doing that.
01:27This, where old European countries and many other countries in Europe have, or in the world, have a lot of
01:35experience.
01:36So we will bring this new understanding, those, let's say, cutting-edge technologies, to the battlefield.
01:43And, of course, let's say, cutting-edge technologies, to the battlefield, to the battlefield.
01:46And, of course, let's say, cutting-edge technologies, to the battlefield.
