01:27Acting president Alcir Rodríguez held a dialogue with the U.S. Secretary of Energy, with the purpose of articulating a
01:33constructive and beneficial energy agenda for both nations, based on energy sovereignty of the South American country.
01:40In this context, Rodríguez reported that among the points discussed were projects in the areas of oil, gas, mining and
01:47electricity, expressing confidence that differences will be overcome through diplomacy.
01:52The acting president also reiterated her welcome and openness to an energy agenda and a long-term productive partnership.
01:59The high-ranking U.S. officials' visit comes amidst the Bolivarian government's efforts to increase crude oil production, establish new
02:08energy partnerships and diversify its hydrocarbon exports.
02:17In this context, the acting president affirmed that all bilateral relations with the United States must be based on mutual
02:23commitment and benefit.
02:33The main point, the first point, is the establishment of partnership that will stand for a long time.

03:56Moving on to Peru, the Congress decided to hold an extraordinary plenary session, to debate and vote on the six
04:02motions to remove interim President José Heri from office.
04:06Two right-wing parties in the Peruvian Congress, Alianza para el Progreso and Podemos Peru, supported the motion presented in
