00:00it's Tuesday and that means it's no filter Tuesday so here I am with a very special guest today
00:14someone that has a soft spot in my heart that's been there for me through thick and thin
00:22and she's a girl's girl she's everything you would love a woman to be as a best friend
00:36she's the kind of person that makes you happy if you're feeling blue and makes you happy if you're
00:43happy and I can't get enough of her and I haven't seen her for a long time so this is a really
00:50special one for me she's an actress she's an entrepreneur she's an author and the warmest
00:57woman I know ladies and gentlemen please welcome the one the only Cameron Diaz
01:09I seriously like I am just so full of joy seeing your face and hearing your voice like I literally
01:23have tears to my eyes because I just I I can't believe it's been so long since we've seen one
01:30another like in person and I feel like like a lifetime has gone past especially in this year
01:36and I just it's so good to see your glorious beautiful glowing
01:40yes everyone I call her Cammie
01:45just oh how are you I'm so good I I honestly I don't think I'm glowing you are oh thank you I feel
01:57like you know I know it's really tough times I know it's really painful in a lot of ways and
02:05what's going on in the world but um I think that every you know everybody's been trying to kind of
02:10grasp the moments that can be like you can find some sort of good and I feel very fortunate that
02:17I'm in those moments as much as I can possibly be so that's good so tell me may I ask you where are you
02:25I'm in Los Angeles I'm in um LA California um where you know the winter is about to set in into the
02:34rest of the world but in California you know we're in a heat wave in the middle of or the
02:40middle of October so I heard that actually yesterday oh hot go away heat I want
02:47I love I must say I love the heat I'm a heat person
02:53so I'm trying to remember because let's go back from the beginning Cammie
02:59where did we first meet god I don't know Hawaii maybe or no no I think I'm gonna say then
03:11okay I'm gonna say you two oh my god yes you two of course I think so I think it's backstage at you two
03:21I think it giant stadium huh yeah definitely was in the east coast of America so I believe it was giant
03:29stadium yeah and that's where I first saw you yeah I remember we I mean look at I've known you for
03:38like I've seen you around in the world but I don't think we ever connected until that time
03:45until that time yeah and um I was just so happy to like to get to know you because I feel like over
03:54these years you know we got to know each other we spent some really good time together and I've always
04:00just been so blown away with your depth that um you know your your depth of knowledge your connectivity
04:08to the world all the things that you sort of like really hold dear to you your friend your family
04:15your extended your made family um and your ability to like reach so many different people I was just
04:21like so happy to know that about you to like be brought into that circle because I just feel like
04:28very powerful in that way that you really are a connector of people which is such a hard thing to
04:34do I'm not I'm terrified of it you're just like fully embrace it well I just have like the funnest
04:42memories the even emotional memories but I love our transparency that we share and we have and we have
04:51many people that we know in common yes and going back from even an ex-agent that we might have shared
05:00for a short time because I want to go that ask you that question you did model for a short time
05:06but I don't think tell me about it I modeled you know I I started modeling when I was 16 and really
05:11what it was was just to get the hell out of Long Beach California because I didn't have any way else
05:16out and so like it was not I think a lot of girls take that opportunity you know it's just like this
05:21thing you get to travel you make money you get to do things you never thought you could ever do go
05:26places you never thought you would be able to go and I really took advantage of that and embraced
05:31it um but I was never like a huge model you know I wasn't like you you were like I was modeling in
05:36your guys's heyday like this super heyday and I believe me did not have like any status like that
05:43I was a commercial um you know I would do commercials as a commercial model uh catalogs that kind of stuff
05:49I lived in Paris for a year never worked you know like it's like that kind of thing and then I got
05:55the mask when I was 20 I turned 21 oh that's what I want to get to that was it what I want to get to
06:02I want to know how did that all come to the phone call you got when you auditioned if you auditioned
06:10or was it just made for you no you know I I had this really wild experience you know as a model people
06:18don't understand like it is a lot of work like you're you have to like go and do this work you're like
06:24hustling you're going castings you're doing you're trying to get your jobs on a daily basis you're
06:29just like every day auditioning for something and I was living in Paris I came home to do my taxes
06:36and being responsible and um I got a call from my commercial agent at the time who said look
06:42there's they're casting this movie they want a model type they want sexy go do this you know call and I was
06:47like I I don't act like that's not my thing like I don't do that but um but and I started my period
06:54that day and I was like like I felt like like I'm not getting into like a sexy dress let me go like
07:01talk let me go do another part if they're hiring I'll try to part something in jeans so they
07:07they had me go read for another part um like the the um uh the journalist and I uh went and read and
07:18Chuck Russell who is the director who is the loveliest human being on the planet he just was like I want
07:24you to come back you have to come back and read for this other part part of Tina Carlyle and I said
07:29okay I had fun sure I'll come back I got dressed up came back that day um did the reading and I don't
07:35know he really just embraced me from that moment on Chuck just was like you're my girl I want you
07:40to like I kept getting callbacks and he was they were talking to Anna Nicole Smith and you know they
07:48the studio really wanted her and because I had never done anything with Jim Carrey was still the white guy
07:53from In Living Color Ace Ventura hadn't come out yet and so we I went back in and and he just it took a
08:00month I went consistently and worked with you know with him he with with uh Jim I would read with Jim
08:09and finally like literally like I think maybe five days or 10 days 10 days before shooting they said
08:16yes to me and I had already done like wardrobe fittings rehearsals and dancing all the I basically
08:23did all the the pre-production for the film without ever getting the film until the without ever getting it
08:28but with the director and the and the co-star which is great to be able to yeah it's kind of nice when
08:36you do those kind of lessons I guess you would call them I guess but where you would you have the
08:42director and the actor and it's not just a cold reading with someone that you know it and it also
08:48was like really amazing that they invested that much time into me you know like and I was kind of I
08:53didn't know at the time what kind of you know chance I was taking you know to me it was nothing
08:58I was going back to Paris in fact I went back to Paris and got all of my stuff and came back to
09:03keep doing the auditions because they kept saying you're going to get the part you're going to get
09:06the part I was like okay so I went back to Paris and like took all my stuff back but yeah it was pretty
09:12wild it was actually I had gone back to Paris and then I got the phone call it was down to me and two other
09:18girls and I was like should I go back should I go back and then I did and then all that happened
09:26so yeah destined and that's when the explosion of Cameron Diaz on our screens ladies and gentlemen
09:34just was like but it was like it was just drawn to you immediately just drawn to you I mean tell me
09:44what was your like what's your what's your heritage my my hair is like my like ethnic background yeah
09:53um so my dad was um Spanish Cuban um German and my mom's German English and um so that's just drawn
10:05I mean I think but you had that Latin spice in there definitely have a Latin in me but yeah
10:13like I always say I'm like the Heinz 57 like I'm a I'm a true American because I'm a mutt you know
10:23I named those four lineages because that's kind of the bulk of it but like
10:27it's a true mutt I'm a true American Heinz 57 mutt and that's you know I don't think there's so many
10:35you know we come to America and we're just like yeah everybody's Americans yes yeah
10:44so born in Long Beach and went to high school with I heard did you ever bump into Snoop Dogg in the
10:53corridors yeah girl you did back then we were just kids together like we neither one of us knew where
11:02we were going or what was gonna happen you know I mean but I definitely remember his him as you know
11:10if you all the pictures you see sort of our high school pictures you know that they always like
11:15celebrities when I said I was like oh yeah I know that guy you know like yeah right and he was a
11:20year older than me but yeah we went to the same high school and yeah so now when we see each other
11:26we're always like probably Jack Roberts yeah he's he's he's uh I mean he's it's great to be still in
11:36contact with your friends from school now um I yeah yeah is that because do you have a few of those
11:43I do I have a couple yeah I like that I have that too and I from my first school from like
11:50seven and eight and I love that oh that's so good but I feel like you don't like you always like once
11:57you make a friend you don't ever not have that person as your friend like I never I I hold my
12:03friends close and true even if the if I don't get to speak every day but the love is there once I love
12:10I love of course yeah I am that way um so basically okay so then you've done the mask boom
12:18boom Cameron Diaz has hit our screens and we want more of her so then what came next
12:27you know I did a few movies um that you know kind of just on the job
12:31a few movies she said
12:35I did like on the job training because I wasn't an actress you know like I I just kind of like had to
12:40like learn how to make movies and act on jobs you know basically so um you know I got lucky in
12:48some people hired me and then I I think like the next like
12:51some people I love it but Cameron you
12:58you know um you never you didn't take yourself seriously no I never did make everybody feel like
13:04oh I could have done that and if I didn't make that mistake it's cool because Cameron Diaz just did
13:10that in the film and that's fine and it's like and yet you had a warmth about you the girl next door
13:18didn't take yourself too seriously how could we not the world not love you oh you're sweet thank you
13:23well you know how could I have not what was it like like I mean what was the movie that off the mask
13:31I think the one that kind of like hit next was I think it was I can't remember it was oh uh uh I
13:41think it was something about Mary was like the next kind of thing that kind of brought me into people's
13:48now can I ask you something did Ben write that for you no I don't think so I don't was like it was
13:55written for you you know what it was offered to me so Ben didn't write it it was the Fairley brothers
14:00oh the Farley brothers sorry yeah they I mean he was the star of it you know but um
14:07the Fairley brothers wrote it so um they I think that they might have written I'm not sure I can't
14:15say that like you know it's harder yeah they wrote it for me just but you love that movie
14:20offered it to me which was like one of you know getting an offer on a movie that was oh that's so
14:26cool so that was so then after something about Mary which we I mean I saw that in the movie theaters
14:34I think three times oh my god yeah I did so in London different countries I definitely saw it in
14:42France I saw it in London and I saw it in America French subtitles or dubbed I mean
14:50I wonder if they did it like that I wonder yeah I wonder no in France
14:57in France I think you were subtitled yeah you were yeah you were yeah it's a very it's a very
15:06French comedic type of yeah yeah yeah it really is yeah so I'm gonna hit stump to
15:13what are kids I heard that kids used to call you a name in school
15:20that I mean I was teased I was called Oliver I didn't I didn't really think anything here or
15:26there I mean I love Popeye but right they teased you what was the name that they called you um they
15:34used to call me Skeletor from do you know Skeletor was he was the villain from um the the hulk not the
15:43not like the hulk like the green hulk but what is wait wait what was the name of that show was a
15:49cartoon and Skeletor was like this the the villain of it Conan Conan yeah that's what it was it was
15:56Conan the conqueror or something it was like yeah like a kid's uh cartoon uh kind of like Scooby-Doo
16:04but like with the superheroes and Skeletor was the villain and he was a skeleton
16:10and he was so that's what they called you now did they call you that because of your height because
16:15Cameron you're very tall no I was like so Naomi you remember the days when you had like people thought
16:22that you were like not being fed like yes yes yes like they're like yes it's terrible but we were
16:30being fed it's just the way that we were exactly I was just like literally just limbs you know
16:39I was just like oh oh my god I um I understand those but you know what you had the last laugh
16:50yeah that matters sorry here sorry folks um so you gotta did a bit of modeling you're now a bonafide
17:01actress and when you did have to start getting back into the clothes thing as an actress how did that
17:10why was that to you were you because you have a very chic clean look yeah thank you I loved coming
17:19from you Naomi I am well you do it's a look where you're wearing the clothes and the clothes are not
17:24wearing you you've never you've never dressed like that no I look at I I think certainly I mean now
17:32as near you know a 48 year old woman like mom during COVID like clothing is not at all in my world
17:41like I'm literally like I was like yesterday I was like wait I'm doing an interview with Naomi tomorrow
17:46what am I gonna wear I was like I think I have a silk shirt somewhere is that
17:56um but like I I really have no interest in clothes except for just like house dresses and sweats right
18:05now um but but I think when when I came back into you know fashion it wasn't really fashion it was more
18:13self style I never really kind of I wasn't really ever a darling of fashion designers the way that
18:19I think that they take to a lot of film actresses but I also I'm like I said I'm not good at those
18:23kinds of relationships I'm always like you know I come from Long Beach it was like what nothing's for
18:28free what do you want from me because I was taught nothing's for free and so um I like stayed away from
18:35that and I just like to earn whatever it is that I have I don't like people giving me things but
18:40that being said I loved being able to have that expression especially when you're in your 20s and
18:4730s it's like you know I remember you know the 90s was just so much fun like dressing up and now
18:54it's coming back around and I'm giving my niece who's 24 I'm giving her all my old 90s stuff oh cool
19:02yeah it's great to save it and pass it on isn't it yeah it's so awesome it really is yeah she loves it
19:10I'm like I'm like I love that you do that that's your sister's daughter right what's that my sister's
19:16daughter yeah she's 24 now it's crazy 24 years old yeah so crazy I know they are babies and then they're
19:26adults you know it's crazy so now I mean let's this is a big jump you are now a mother yourself
19:38how is that for you you are now a wife a mother I am you know a private life semi-private life very
19:47private life you know I I love it it's really I feel like um you know a lot of people do it the other
19:54way around they do it first and then they kind of you know they have a family they have get married
19:59they have a family in their their youth I'm kind of doing in the second half of my life which I'm
20:06really I need the only pressure for me now is I have to live to be like 107 you know so no pressure
20:16oh my gosh I I really feel like this is my sweet spot and my happiest time in my life
20:24even with all the amazing experience of I experiences I've had you know in in in traveling
20:32and accomplishments of you know working hard and um putting things into the world that I'm proud of
20:39um I can already tell well I know not tell I I know this is really the most gratifying moment in my life
20:47to to be at this place to get here because you know having having a family um when you're
20:54young I think there's a real sort of like it's like anything when you're young you're just like
20:58you do it you know I mean um but when you're when you're uh this my age and you decide to do it's a
21:05real choice you know something like you really have to work hard for it um and because one just my age my
21:13you know uh um you know having a child was was a lot of work um and then marriage also is it's another
21:21thing because when you're young you guys just like you you become one another you know you kind of meld
21:26into one another um you know but when you're older and you start a marriage you really aware of what it
21:34takes to like become a partners with one another because you're no longer you you've been individuals
21:41for so long you know I met my husband when I was 40 years old 41 years old um 41 or maybe just turning
21:5042 um so I you know was really aware of me I was 40 I don't even freaking know but wait wait you
22:01I mean yeah you know first of all through really yourself at that point you yourself you have gone
22:08through you've discovered yeah you know all your inhibitions all the things you but you're also set
22:14in your ways girl like you don't want to change it and so you're like that's another challenge yeah
22:21you're like I don't I don't do it yeah but Camille you know how to adapt yeah yeah you can
22:29you make okay you're known as Cameron Diaz the actress but I can tell you guys Camille when
22:37she puts her mind can do anything you I've seen you I've seen you go when you did when you when you
22:43put your focus and you want to do this you can from houses to anything alcohol to wanting to be an
22:50author to you told me about the juicing you taught me how good it was to do it to cleanse to juice at
22:57least two or three times a year you know the book you wrote which I think I just want to I'm not getting
23:05getting off the course of being a wife um anywhere I know your I know your sister-in-law I know your
23:12brother-in-law and love them and call her cousin yeah um just there's I mean a lot of things you've
23:19done really like the first book you wrote which I have is something you absolutely can do now while
23:26we're in this period yes quiet reflection always I mean it's it's definitely that you know that that
23:34book's sort of like a um a manual to our bodies you know it is always something that I was kind of
23:41astonished by was that how little we actually learn were taught about our bodies and all it's like yeah I
23:49I can't do math or read or write um or if I don't have a body that's well period like and self-esteem
23:59too is also for self-esteem absolutely uh it's just like I mean but for the right reasons like knowing
24:09like you're that you're taking care of yourself and that you're valuing your body for me it's like about
24:15like about you know valuing your your body so you're not just like thinking having it as an
24:22afterthought and when you start to show love and care to your body then you really and you know about
24:27it and you understand how it works you can give it more care and then you have you put more value to
24:32it so therefore you put more value to yourself you have more empowerment and self-esteem because of it
24:38you wrote a second book the longevity book tell me about that please that is about um the science of
24:48aging and how we age on a cellular level and what happens to ourselves as we from birth to basically
24:54death and it's really kind of because we all say we're aging we're all saying we're getting older and
25:01I was just like what does that mean you know what what does it mean to get older what is the science
25:07behind it what is happening to my body as I get older you know and learning about apoptosis where
25:13it's like sudden death of your cells you're like oh right that happens but when you're younger that
25:18happens and you regenerate it as you get older the regeneration of the regenerating of your cells
25:26becomes less capable your cells can't do it and so they just become a bunch of dead cells and you
25:32just start to die out but then you can you can make that you can extend the the your cells ability to
25:41do their job longer by how you take care of yourself and that's like the pillars of wellness which is
25:48you know your your food mind body um exercise met uh you know meditation connectivity so like your
25:58relationships with people your how well your your purpose in life you know purpose in life being
26:04connected to people people who need you or that having that is like a very strong pull towards
26:11wellness as you get older in life because a lot of people isolate and when you isolate you start to
26:16make things smaller and you stop taking that you know you you lose parts of yourself that means you're
26:22shut down basically shut down it's it's it's hard though sometimes to keep pushing yourself to be
26:29active to to to do some form of exercise you just want to say i don't want to do anything some days
26:36but it's it all keeps it yeah i get it you know but look at this it we're all balanced we're all
26:44imbalanced in one part of our life at certain times right so i've been like really crazy about food and
26:50nutrition you know where i'm like really that's my main focus and i you i mean when you traveled i
26:57saw that you kept you were very disciplined even no matter what country you're in about what you ate
27:03now it was done how it was cooked yeah and but now you know but at that time i had no balance of like
27:11my my people my my other side of my life you know like yeah family and friends relationships
27:19connectivity um i wasn't attached to that aspect of my life and i wasn't taking care of my mind
27:27and my you know psychology like i needed to like really find a balance meditation um all those things
27:35were kind of it was an imbalance so you you try to find right now i'm just like really heavy on my
27:40connectivity of my child and my husband and my my you know covid bubble and like my people in our
27:47community and how we're all getting through this at the moment and my my self-care has really sort of
27:54slid out i'm just like nutrition of course is very very important to me um but uh you know i'm i'm
28:00chasing a child around so i i'm like that's my exercise but really i need to like go get some real
28:07you know stretching and i try to stretch every day and just little things do you still juice
28:12oh girl i love a good juice and i need to i need to do i'm due for a real real juice cleanse
28:21and then wait a second but now i also heard because i spoke to someone the other night
28:28i spoke to derek and derek's like oh i just finished cameron's wine it's delicious
28:33yes can you please tell me when you started the wine because i know there's more than one
28:41or there's a few yeah yeah we're getting ready to launch our red as well um so it's called avilene
28:48and avilene is a brand that my partner and i my partner is katherine um power who starts what where
28:55um first as a online blog um magazine yeah i know it and then she has to wear and target and she has
29:03first skin care which is a clean skin care line that sells at a drug store and we were just literally
29:11going like we love wine we have a glass of wine but you know you have one glass of wine you're just
29:16like that's enough for me i can't i have to get up in the morning it hurts my head and we were like
29:21maybe there's a way to make it better for you and so we're so ignorant we had no idea
29:28what that meant um and if it was possible but what we did do is we dove into understanding how
29:33wine was made and we found out there's a lot of there's over 73 ingredients that are allowed to be
29:39um added to wine as sort of like tools for the winemakers um that are not disclosed on the label
29:47because if there's no requirement for it because it's not alcohol isn't regulated by the fda it's
29:53regulated by the ttb here and and the states which they don't care about nutrition that's not what
29:59they're so you mean they can just look as they pass this barcode they don't care exactly so um we we
30:09decided to kind of figure out how to make a wine that was that or really not make we we sourced
30:17wine we made wine it is made um for us but um we found winemakers and and vineyards first and
30:25foremost it had to be organic grapes yeah i think it's like you're not getting any sort of residual
30:31pesticides in the wine that could possibly make it in because there's no pesticides use in the
30:35farming but cammy do you get to you've been to see where the grapes are done i know we meet good i
30:41process good and i like we we what we did was we found wine we love to drink we called a bunch of
30:50vineyards that we loved drinking their wines found out what their what they did with their wines whether
30:56or not they made it to the standards we were looking for if it was organic vineyard um and most of our
31:03farms are are generational so they've been they've been our winemakers have been making wine their father
31:09others for generations and so and farming organically for as long and so we went to those vineyards and
31:18basically made deals to have them be our providers um you know get a beautiful i find cammy that you
31:26know a lot of people put the stamp organic but you don't have to have really very low percentage i just
31:33heard and it's not really so it's really nice to hear you tell everyone that you've been there you
31:40see that these grapes are preserved no pesticides and it is clean and organic so we've done all the
31:48testing for everything right for every we do a testing every time on our wine just to make sure
31:53that our you know everything's up to the standard that there's nothing in it that we don't want it to
31:58be in we want to be in it um so the the baseline is no added sugars colors or concentrates because
32:05that's a practice that happens a lot in in in winemaking it's just for flavor or color whatever
32:12it might be um there's added is for textures um a lot of times um it's a stand kind of pretty standard
32:19practice to do fining and and clarifying of wine with um animal byproducts so if a if a vegan didn't know
32:27that that was being used then they would be drinking a wine that doesn't hold their values which
32:32ours is vegan um and we put all of it on the label and that's everything straight transparent
32:38because and our website has all the information we're going to have all the nutritional information
32:43facts um towards the end of this month on all of our wines or i think on our next run of wines we
32:50will have it and we but basically there's no added sugars you know colors or concentrates is the
32:56baseline um but we it's just delicious wine first off but we you can tell that it aligns with your
33:03values if you're walking down this you know the the grocery store aisle and uh you'll know you'll
33:10it'll be the only wine that says it on the label and that was us we wanted we knew that there was
33:16probably hundreds of wines on the aisle that were the wines we wanted to drink but we just couldn't tell
33:22what no way to know there's no way to know so we we did that and we wanted it to be everywhere so we
33:29wanted it to be at every grocery store so it wasn't like where we had to go across town to the specialty
33:34store to find the wine that we wanted to drink we wanted to be just like i'm going to the grocery
33:39store i'm picking up my dinner and my bottle of wine that i know is exactly the wine i want to drink
33:44and so we right now we're in 2000 stores across america in like 43 states we're getting we're
33:50growing we're growing growing we just wanted to be for everybody we want it and we want everyone to
33:55know and you know some people don't care and that's totally fine and they're they're but i think people
34:00do care now they're more conscious about what they're putting on the inside they want to know
34:06there's a there's a lot of different wine cultures are kind of coming up right so originally it was sort of
34:12like the vineyard the terroir the the region the vintage those were the things that were important
34:19to the wine drinker of course like those are beautiful things and like it can be a hobby and
34:24people can collect bottles and you know open them two years later and know that it was a good year
34:31that was a good year i mean i'm not a wine drinker but i appreciate yeah the whole maturity to how it's
34:38done needs the patience and i appreciate yours even more because it's it's clean yeah and then but then
34:44there's drinkers who are like great none of those things matter to me all i want to know is what does
34:48it taste like and we literally put onto our our you know our labels what it tastes like we say it tastes
34:56like this you know finished i mean like so people get to just get it you know they buy it because they
35:06know they're not like uh what kind of that grape what does it taste like it tastes like this yeah it's
35:12great yeah which is what you want to know exactly i mean my god what else do you feel you want to do
35:18i know there's more things that you want to do i know girl i want to take a nap
35:30oh can i just wouldn't it be so great if i was like telling everybody i have this important i have
35:36a really important interview with naomi campbell and really all i was doing is taking you did that last
35:43week you know what all i remember is you know what you always were good at getting us all together to
35:51do games yeah you were good now you always work it i love doing games nights with you it's fun
36:01so in respect for all of that which it takes up a lot of time
36:04do you feel like i mean you've lived you've really lived a life why and you're only 40 40 47
36:15no i'm 48 now god i just i mean you lived a life okay well yeah but you've lived an incredible life
36:22and it feels like you lived your life really so young that you are in would you say this is your third phase
36:32third phase i would say third phase yeah third phase second half of my life kind of thing and you
36:40really have just the discipline to just say okay that was that and this is now yeah i'm really i feel
36:49really resolved i mean i'm not i never say never to anything first of course i mean but i feel really
36:56really resolved i mean i haven't made a movie since like 2013 2014 like it's been a long time
37:04that's been like seven years or six years since i made a film girl i am okay with that like i'm not
37:11there's no part of me that's like i gotta get up i gotta get back in front of the camera like or you
37:15know what i mean like i i gotta go out you know i mean like i don't feel that way and and i don't
37:21and that's not to say like i won't someday but like i'm really resolved at where i'm at right now
37:27because i feel like it just came to me now about coming i was when i came to rome saw you all in
37:35gangs of new york initiative on the set i was just like i came to say hi to marty and i got to see you
37:42and leo and i mean you've just done your body of work your body of work is incredible you cannot
37:51deny you've done some incredible roles unpredictable they're all so different yeah and that you must be
37:58and should be proud of that i am i've been really really fortunate at the actors and directors that
38:04i've gotten you know the honor to work with you know i've always looked back on the actors cammy you've
38:10worked with some you have worked with some leading men absolutely actors and directors that i've gotten
38:16to work with have been astounding like i'm so fortunate to get that opportunity and you know as
38:23now that i'm older i'm always like god i really should have taken like a bigger chunk out of that you
38:28know like i should have just like been in the moment more you know but i think that that's that's one of
38:34those things where um it goes back to now being a mom at my yes yeah now i really understand when
38:44you're gonna do your first movie because you're gonna do it when you're gonna do your first movie
38:50now that you're a mom it's gonna be a different cammy ds yeah i look forward to seeing it and we're gonna
38:58see it well it's when you're ready but it's like you said it's no rush yeah i i rush at all i'll come
39:05back i'll come back like when i'm really like people like there's a new actress a new older actress on the
39:12scene and you know what it's gotta come back that's not even the right word it's intermission intermission
39:20yeah no i i what happens i'm like i never say never to anything you know you shouldn't and i
39:28agree with you it's like people say are you ever gonna walk the runway again i'm like i'm nervous
39:33you said i left anyway it's just i was like of course it's right it's right but it's not it's not
39:39i really honestly i'm literally just can think that you're still walking the runway because like
39:45you're coming i'm 50. like nobody else walks the runway like there's gonna have to draw a line
39:52somewhere cammy i am 50. girl i know you you talk about this is the thing that also like you're
40:02you're like not human like you are like your um your your first off your energy i think carries
40:10you the furthest that's my dog coughing if you heard that my dog he was like i'm not leaving the
40:18room i was like okay but my your your strength in your body i'll wait till he's done coughing because
40:27i don't know what do we need to give him some more is he all right it's his heart he didn't have a
40:31chicken bone did he no no he he his heart's swelling and and choking him it's it's a long thing he's
40:37gonna die that way but there's nothing we can do i'm doing everything but my i'm always astounded
40:46at like the strength of your body and like how even today at 50 you're so statues and it's i know
40:55i know you work on it because nobody doesn't do something for it i know you take care of yourself i
41:00know you're dedicated to taking care of yourself your workout your nutrition you're you're really
41:08very disciplined about that um but you're you're just like not human in that way
41:20that's actually i i don't want to say actually take that back because i don't want to like
41:25objectify you because you're not but you you told me one day everything you told me this
41:32you told me one day now i was talking to you about eating satan i knew that i really like it
41:39i don't want to eat meat anymore because i and you said naomi you have to do it in moderation you told
41:45me that i never forgot it because it's a lot of soy and as we know soy is not good for us
41:52you know it can cause breast cancer yeah and it's also you know it's a pro it's a processed food you know
41:58so you're eating processed food you're not eating a whole food like it's better to like
42:04find something whole that gives you that protein that is okay for you to eat than eating that as
42:10a substitute to your protein you know yeah i have to tell you i just had a funny thought we'd go on
42:18like a helicopter ride to look at you know nature and then we'll just be sitting on a rock having
42:25like you know our lunch picnic lunch and camille would just pull out a whole roast chicken this is
42:33nutrition this is organic and this is clean she was right we're eating all this processed stuff and
42:41then it was like we had no knife and bolts we're just like yeah we'll have a wing we'll have a leg
42:46i just like pull out it's just like oh god i miss you so much i miss you too oh my god please say hi
