00:13According to police records, on April 23, 2015, the woman died after falling from a building in
00:18Sahibabad. The case was registered as suicide and later closed. Officials said the files are
00:23now being re-examined as part of background checks. Investigators have also confirmed that
00:28Kumar is married to three women, two of whom are biological sisters, all living together
00:33with the children under the same roof. Police say this family setup is now being examined
00:38as part of the probe. Police also said a suicide note and a nine-page diary recovered from the
00:43room are being analysed. The note indicates the sisters were more emotionally attached
00:47to their father than their mothers. Investigators also confirmed that the girls had been distressed
00:55after their father confiscated and later sold their mobile phones, following concerns over
01:00excessive use of Korean apps, online games and contact with foreign friends.
01:05The Uttar Pradesh State Commission for Women has flagged possible parental negligence and excessive
01:10academic pressure and has sought a detailed report from the district administration and police.
01:15Police have maintained that the deaths of Nishika, Prachi and Parkhi, who jumped from the ninth
01:20flow of their residential tower in Bharat City Society earlier this week, are being treated
01:25as suicide, with further action to follow after forensic and cyber reports.
