00:00We have just finished medal presentations at the 2026 Skate Canada Trophy for the Novice
00:12Paris events and I am with Mary Kim Runze and Enric Legault, champions and gold medalists.
00:19Congratulations. Thank you. First of all, let's hear a little bit about your skate today.
00:24Okay. So we are very happy with what we do on the ice. Our objective is to have the Canadian
00:38record. So we have it. So we are very happy. Yes. So that was something you were thinking
00:46about, was the Canadian record. Well, congratulations on doing that. Very exciting. Now you were
00:51in third place going into the Free Skate today. So what was your mindset going in?
00:57Well, of course, well, personally, I was a bit nervous because, you know, we had a few
01:03points. We were down a few points. So, but, you know, we were, in my head, we were just
01:10here to have fun and compete for having fun. Well, it's a very upbeat program to Michael
01:17Jackson. So it looked like you were having fun out there. Now, last year, you competed
01:23in pre-novice and you were the pre-novice Paris champions. So what did you do from last year
01:29to get ready for the move to novice?
01:31We landed at triple saw throw and the double twist came late, but we have it in the program.
01:43So the lift too are very more difficult. So yeah, we, yeah, we do that. And if I can just
01:56add, you know, we, we had a lot of help from, from our coaches and our teammates slash, you
02:03know, competitors, we, we were always pushing, pushing each other at the training. So I think
02:09that's one of the things that helped us, you know, make the move from pre-novice to novice.
02:15Well, it looks like you come from a great training environment. I can see everybody working together
02:20and your coaches. Of course, I know. So I know that's good too. Now, besides the Paris,
02:25I do want to talk about, because you competed earlier in singles and also you're in first
02:31place after the short program. So how do you manage a very busy day like that?
02:37It's very like I practice in pair and after I practice in single, it depends on the day because
02:47like Monday, we have two session of pair and one session of single. And Tuesday, we have
02:57two session, I have two session of single and one session of pairs. So very, it's a very,
03:05very, very, very, very, but balanced. Yeah. Oh, that's good. Well, I mean, congratulations.
03:11That's great work. I love to see you continuing with your singles and doing that and the development
03:15of your pairs. Pre-novice last year, novice this year. I don't know what's coming next,
03:20but certainly congratulations. And we look forward to watching you develop and your future success.
03:26Thank you. Thank you very much.
