The Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots met in the Super Bowl in 2015, and the ending was wild
Transcript
00:00That feeling is different, there's really not many feelings you would have in your life like that.
00:30I never imagined this in my wildest dreams, so I, you know, I love playing sports.
00:41Marshawn, how are you feeling?
00:44You know why I'm here.
00:46To get a chance to play the Super Bowl, I never thought I'd play in one.
00:49So it's pretty unbelievable to be able to play in six.
01:00I remember us sitting beside Tom and he looked at me and he said, defense has got to make a play.
01:05You know, and how prophetic that was.
01:19Props to him, he works hard.
01:21He's an unbelievable player and he made the play of the century, no doubt.
01:25You know, whatever it takes, I think we're playing great defense.
01:28And they had a great team.
01:31Took everything, took, you know, all the way to the last play.
01:34It's a great team, great group of competitors.
01:37Never, never gave in, never lost their will.
01:42I'm looking down, trying to figure it out, and then all of a sudden you hear this big roar,
01:46and Tom jumps up and starts jumping up and down, and I'm like, you gotta be kidding me.
01:51To see how that game played out and to see that interception, I was amazed.
01:55And it's just a crazy memory looking back at that.
01:59It's like, wow, that's a crazy finish.
02:01I mean, I had no idea 12 years later I'd be wearing a Patriots uniform.
02:05So, yeah, nuts.
02:08Unfortunately, with the play that we tried to execute, the guy makes a great play,
02:11and he jumps in front of the route and makes it an incredible play that nobody would ever.
02:15It was a great play, man.
02:16I'm a little kid, man.
02:17I'm just seeing, it was just pretty crazy.
02:18I'm on the train of should have handed the ball off.
02:20We got Marshall Lynch back there, but.
02:21I just remember watching it and kind of feeling hurt.
02:22I was a LLB fan, obviously Earl Thomas is like a mentor to be.
02:26and he jumps in front of him out,
02:27makes it an incredible play that nobody would ever.
02:30It was a great play, man, just when I'm a little kid, man,
02:32I'm just seeing now, it was just pretty crazy.
02:35I'm on the train of should have handed the ball off.
02:38We got Marshawn Lynch back there, but.
02:40I just remember watching it and kind of being hurt.
02:43I was an L.O.B. fan.
02:44Obviously, Earl Thomas is like a mentor to be, so.
02:48Just seeing that, I was kind of hurt.
02:50I just knew they was going to get a ball to Marshawn Lynch,
02:54but they threw it, and Malcolm Butler caught that pick,
02:58so man, shout out to Malcolm Butler, for sure.
03:02You know, being on the one-yard line,
03:03two-yard line, I remember who we were, you know.
03:05I wish we had a squad, I don't care who scores,
03:07I don't care how we do it,
03:09as long as we find a way.
03:13Like every team has a journey,
03:14and a lot of people have lost faith in us early,
03:16but we held strong, we held together,
03:18and it's a great feeling.
